**Britcar Event Information**

im hoping that the GT2 or the GT3 are in this race, if been practising a lot with The #33 Jaquar and BMW

**This event may be moving to the weekend of the 22nd-23rd of September (a week delay) and it will be going from 12 Hours to 24 Hours**

We have a choice here, both weekends can still be run and the current 12 Hours can still go ahead. However, we would like to move the event back a week as we have something spectacular planned but we realize that some people may have already taken time off from work for the 12 Hour event on the 15th.

If the 12 Hour event goes ahead this will still be treated like Le Mans and we will be doing everything we can to make it as much a spectacle as Le Mans was, but the weekend afterwards will completely eclipse this.

The TORA 24 Hours of Britcar on the 22nd-23rd will still be going ahead. Full details will be announced soon.

Car lists, build rules, regulations and the like will be released mid August.

Can you please let me know your thoughts about which weekend you would prefer?

damn that means I won't be able to make this race so the TCC next Tuesday will be my last race for about 8 months

We could possibly be having a 12 hour event on the 15th/16th followed by a 24 hour event a week later on the 22nd/23rd!

I'd be unable to race on the 22nd owing to a family wedding (kinda gutted because I know how huge this will be), but could do stints on the 23rd. In a way I'd welcome the respite/extra week of prep required by dropping the race on the 15th (turning it into the 24h a week later).

As we say, the event will go ahead if the people demand it.
But I can safely say that what we have up our sleeves for the following week is mindblowingly huge....

I booked the 12 hrs off work but an change it to the 24 hrs weekend because it will be so much better

Just gotta make sure I got nothing going on that weekend ?!?

I can see dropping the 12h in favor of the 24, but I can see myself trying my hardest to do both of them.

Please keep the feedback coming, so far it looks like the 12 Hours on the 15th is in favor of being dropped for the 24 hours on the 22nd/23rd. If there is enough demand to keep it on the 15th we will, but we would prefer to put all our focus into the 22nd/23rd if possible.

Lemme guess, TORA has bought a booth/tent at the actual Britcar24, meaning that everyone here from the nation of Great Britain is going to be at that damn booth for the 24hr, and that you guys are going to have some massive party while us Americans have to play locked up in our houses getting slightly pissed off at the amount of fun you guys are having.

Race advantage to "the rest of us" as we will be relatively undistracted by grid girls, race cars, drunk girls, etc...
