With the announcement of the World GT series being announced recently the Mascott Engineering team decided we should have a crack at it and bought a pair of Ferrari 458 Italia's and sent them straight to the paint shop to have there liveries applied .

At this time it would make sense to confirm our title sponsor for the series ahead . We are very excited to announce that MWR Racing Air filters have come onboard as our title sponsor for the series and from the previews we have seen of the car we are quite excited to see how it turns out.

While the cars were still in Italy after getting painted they were loaded up into the transporter and taken to the Mugello circuit where we unloaded one of the cars for a shakedown test while the transporter made the long journey back to the team base in Ireland for the engineers and second driver Dan (TheFisherLC) to get there hands on the car .

With only the club circuit being available for hire as the rest of the track was getting resurfaced . A testing program was made up consisting of 2 20 lap stints dedicated to Mark (MrMarko1100) getting himself settled into the car as he hasnt driven a 458 in anger since the Sebring 12 hours with Dynamic Motorsports nearly 3 years ago .

After the test there was a short debrief to get everything that had been learnt down onto the laptops and get the car ready to be shipped home by plane .
