Xbox Live Issues

if there is a prize up for grabs this should be postponed because people are now not able to win because of things outside of their control

Why not postpone this untill tomorrow majority have done quali so it would be just straight to race as said above the prize up for grabs is for everyone and CUs of xb live being stubborn not our fault we cant connect..

haha not gonna happen Lads, and for 1 we wouldnt be able put our qualifying laptimes in as they have already started racing,

With there being a prize up for grabs you have to stick to the schedule. If someone can't make the postponed round but could make tonight then the organizers are between a rock and a hard place of being forced to choose between those who signed up for what was officially announced and those who are SoL because of XBL issues outside of their control.

IF it is postponed, I'd be happy if we had the option to carry our qualifying time forward from this week.
I'm really happy with my time and it could mean not as many people need to qualify so speed up the postponed meeting.
Those who aren't as happy with their times can elect to re-qualify next time but lose whatever time they set this week.

but if you push the race back a week anybody that misses that would have missed the next race. where as this is a situation beyond the control of anyone and therefore causes people to miss out on a chance to win some very good prizes because of issues with xbox

I think there may be a dropped round in the championship after this

like Matt said this is something Us people can not fix it is due to Microsoft/Xbl and certain people cant connect, myself been 1 of them and yes i am gonna moan about it, cause i put alot of time into practising and mithering for a paintjob of a team member to be able run this series and not 2 add the moaning i did before hand so can you see my Frustration? to just get kicked in the nuts by Xbl and then 2 get another kick in the Nuts cause this wasnt postponed yeah, maybe the majority got on, but in all fairness if they were in any way had a good heart they would say "yeah go on postpone it to next week and let them guys get a qualifying lap in" but nah just go on lads no worries we people see how it is

if a drop round is put in Stan fair play, i dont mind if not its another kick in the nuts for people that couldnt join now you may of put that Idea out there

So will we still gain points the ones that couldn't join only fair to give us last place in what ever lobby we was in as this issue was out of our hands...and next time check xblive before starting lobbys...

I already posted this up Jonno 3 hours before Qualifying so there is no excuses there for them

So because of NAT settings, i get shafted from a decent finish and as far as I was told, no points. Nice one guys, keep up the good work.

Just to clarify on what's been going on here;

I was well aware of the XBL issues before the race, and decided to go and see what the situation was. I told the Marshals that if we couldn't get qualifying started before 9pm, we'd postpone the race. However, the majority of drivers could get into the lobby and so Q begun.

I am not prepared to postpone the races (and thus the whole season) by a week because 4 or 5 people couldn't connect. In fact, 4 or 5 people is about the usual amount anyway for various reasons, so it was.

Regarding NAT, there's not a lot I can do about this other than urge you all to make you NAT settings Open.

If you didn't finish a race, you get the points as if you had finished last so long as you Qualified.

Also, there is now a dropped round in the standings after all this kerfuffle. So your worst-placed race will not be counted (for drivers and teams champs)

okay cheers Stan as for the Nat mine was Already open has been i reset router 3 times and still couldnt connect but could connect to LoL on my PC what tbh probs takes up hell of alot more Bandwitch when in a game, it was due to XBL messing up but now theres a drop round i will be happy to carry on running in the series
