Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
All of the championship tables are now up to date & the dropped round score has now taken into affect. Obviously, it'll all change depending on whether you suffer a further bad round in the future etc etc.
Many thanks to everyone in Lobby A for making the event such a joyful one, particularly in race 3. That was seriously good fun. Many apologies for the slight taps in that race. I literally had my race face on when I saw EGGY make progress in that one! #lol
But couldn't quite catch Devil in the end so many congrats on your race win mate
And it's such a great buzz hearing all of this positive feedback from each meeting. It's what I've been hoping for ever since we relaunched the Spec Cup and it's clearly paying off with the large attendances and reading your comments.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
I don't do replays unless I'm hosting sorry I always forget/CBA.
Also really looking forward to RoadAm because it's just like a massive rectangle so the racing should be a great spectacle (and a change of pace from the more technical tracks.)

Just put the replays up, just search Spec cup RD 3 race 1, Spec cup RD 3 race 2, or Spec cup RD3 race3.

Still throwing me into that same random A class lobby when I try and join Hunty. Wish I'd have just stayed in Adam's qualy now... :/

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Glad you enjoyed it man I also loved this evening's antics in Alobby as most of the mid-pack was very evenly paced. Great racing between all of us and I look forwards to next week.
P.S. A huge thanks to ATR DAN and Adam Watson for organising/hosting a separate qualy lobby because I had connection issues. Fantastic series with great people running it and racing it <3

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Superb and fun little series to come back to after being away from TORA for two months due to certain unforeseen circumstances. Really enjoyed the racing tonight. Many thanks to organisers and lobby B host Hunty.
Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Championship standings have been updated.
Lobby A was a bit noisy this evening due to some of the Lobby B regulars appearing. But that was the only downside as I found it difficult to give out instructions in the lobby and in each race.
However, as Spec Cups go, this evenings racing has been truly stupendous. Haven't had so much fun in such an event for a very long while.
Race 1 with F4H EGGY was EPIC! Hard but very fair driving. Race 2 was little quieter but still brilliant. And race 3, fighting my way through and then battling with F4H Devil: EPIC! Huge respect to you both.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Got wrecked in race three by epic lag. Good racing whilst it lasted though.
Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Good racing tonight, lag caused some issues though for me so a mixed bag of results. Lagging out whilst leading was infuriating, but now I've calmed down I can shrug it off, these things happen.
Congrats to all the winners tonight though, any victory would be well earned.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Lobby b was pretty epic if you were at the front of the pack lol...race one I had the lead for all 12 laps but last two corners gifted speed demon the win race two was well of the pace for son reason but great battle for 4th with stupidstu how we kept it clean is beyond me as we were practically side by side the whole race lol...race 3 better pace got the lead at the first corner from 8th on the grid only to make a mistake or two and let montessa mike through shortly followed by a very pacey speed demon so I settled in for third and that's were I finished....shame I had connection issues for two of the rounds...been a good series...

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Ive noticed that the final round of this is on the 8th May, That's a BIG day. I'm sure we all know why. If you don't, where the hell have you been? With PCars out THAT day, I'm not sure if I'd be able to tear myself off of it, even for a couple of hours, I'll have to see when it comes to it. Unless, there's someway the final round could be brought forward but I know that'd be difficult. I just think numbers will seriously plummet for the final round. Who'd want to play Forza 4.25 when they have Project CARS in their consoles? It's also the reason why I pulled out of the ProGT at Sebring.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Not to worry mate. We have that covered
I'm pretty sure that yes. Attendances won't be that great. But it'll be quite hard now at this late stage to rearrange the date for the final round of the series. I'll somehow try not to tempt myself to pick up CARS on May 8th. But also, having this dropped round score will come in very handy for those of you who have attended every single meeting thus far.
Plus, when this championships completed, we move straight onto an exciting new series for CARS. Not gonna reveal too much, but just watch this space.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
I apologise. There was no need for that. It won't happen again.

If you don't want to turn up because you're not committed to the event, don't make a big song and dance about it. I'm getting Pcars the day it comes out, but I'll still be turning up. I mean, it's not like you have a proper reason for not turning up other than the fact it's a bit of an inconvenience after you've bought a new game. Really it just feels like you're that one pleb in school who misses a day because the new AAA title hit the shelves and you want to no life it while everyone else does boring work. I see no problem with the final race being on the 8th.
Wow, wanna throw anymore insults my way? I didn't realise my post would upset you, what have I done to deserve the name calling? Is that how it is here now? Put an opinion and you get verballay abused. Really nice of you. So we know who the school bully is then. I thought this was meant to be a friendly community??

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
There was no need for that Mr Driv3. At the end of the day, it's up to everyone whether they wish to take part in any of our events or not. The last thing we want to do is force people.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Never, ever, ever, ever, ever do I want to experience that again.
That was by far & away the worst round of the championship thus far. Not because of the results, but because of what happened during.
I've never been so bloody frustrated at trying to host A lobby with a lack of respect shown by some within it. Clearly chatting away when I was trying to give out instructions to all so that everyone can compete & trying to concentrate during each race.
By the end, I just kept quiet because no matter how many times myself or someone tried to give out instructions, people seem to have an issue at sticking to it. When we ask you to keep quiet, we mean it! Please so some respect for everyone involved. If this happens ever again in any of our championships (not just this one), then I'm afraid I will have to take more drastic action than I showed this evening! PLEASE BE QUIETER IN LOBBIES IN THE FUTURE!!
The racing wasn't much better either. Huge lag spike in race 1 caused a very extensive safety car and we lost half of the race as a result. Lag once again in race 2 but it affected only a couple of people this time.
Race 3 was slightly better but I must clearly apologise to paul299 who I accidently veered into and causing him to spin off the circuit. I tried slowing down so you could repass me but you said it was fine. But, I still feel really guilty for spoiling your race dude.
Very sorry to everyone in A lobby for how things have turned out and I do hope the championship finale next week will run much more smoothly than this. And apologies to all in B lobby for the delays.
Huge thanks as well to our lobby hosts F4H Devil, AdamWatson99, TyrannicCymbals & Hunty1981.

Re: TORA Ford Fiesta Trophy - General Discussion
Appologies to lobby B guys, I was meant to be on pole for the last race but I lagged out after the restart and couldn't get back online. I hope you didn't wait for me too long if at all. Not a great night for most people by the sounds of it
