That would be a tremendous help mate. The more helping hands, the better
So what do you good people think of our newest Spec Cup to TORA?

Have the lobby settings like tire wear been tested on pre-release builds?
Or are they just a guess on what is best for this series.

At this moment in time, it's complete guess work. Some of the lobby settings haven't been finalised yet until we have our hands on the console version of the game.
That is why I'm hoping that (if any of you are interested), I'll be hosting a test session on Saturday 9th May (exactly 1 day after launch here in the UK) to try out these lobby settings to see what will be best for the series. Preperation is key for this one
I'm guessing that will be quite a few of you who will no doubt want to take part

Simple answer is no. The races will still be hosted on a Friday night.
The only reason why the test session is on the Saturday is because the final round of our Fiesta Trophy will be contested the day before. Otherwise, we would have hosted the test on Friday 8th instead.

Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
I'm hoping that I'll be getting the game on release day. I might have a go at this. Though with my Junior Cert coming up and Friday nights not suiting me well I might not be able to race much but we'll see!
Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
I'm in. I'll be sizing up the car all day saturday so testing will be fun

Just a small concern, is Cadwell Park a wise selection for the opening round of a championship?
Its nothing against Cadwell Park, its a great bike track. But with the release in North America due only three days before the start of a series and Cadwell Park isnt as well known as some of the other UK Circuit options to those overseas, so learning a new game, a new circuit and that being a circuit in which overtaking is not easy on two wheels, let alone four, i just fear a replay of a 1963 Mini Cooper going around Prague, which turned into a demolition derby by Lap Two and was that bad, even i didnt bother racing on TORA again for nearly six months.
It would be a tough ask personally to get ready as i dont run with a magic line pointing me in the right direction while parasending twenty feet behind the car, and being old, i call getting my pants on the right way as an achievement, long before learning the layout and braking points of Snetterton for example, but perhaps a Donington Park or Silverstone as a starter for ten, Silverstone is known by all and Donington Park is at least wide and slightly more forgiving,

Yet to get my hands on the game as being a huge motorsport and sim racer fan I stupidly pre-ordered the Ltd Edition from Game back in September and turns out this was the biggest mistake I could have made. Get no additional content to all those who simply downloaded it on release date, get no extra freebies for pre-ordering or having Ltd Edition Version, in fact the word Limited means nothing as every person who purchases digital gets the Ltd version anyway, I also Paid more than those who bought digital version and I have to wait longer to get my hands on copy as Game have release date as 8th when in fact all digital could play from midnight last night. Moral of the story, never pre-order a game ever again.
anyway rant over, sign me up. Been looking to replace the organised racing league/championships that I used to compete in over at VM since it closed and got a little bit tired of Forza but this has got me excited about the prospect of some close quarters wheel to wheel racing again so look forward to see'ing you all on track in the next few weeks. Feel free to invite me to the practice session for this on Saturday, my GT is DKS Munky AjDZ
Cheers all

Yeah this car/track mixture is a bomb waiting to go off. the person who wins is the person who go off the least... Good bleedin luck everyone! The learning curve is steep with this one.
Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
Ha ha, that's so true, I've tried 4corners in which I had 8 spins. This is going to be mere challenging that those formula fords on FM5 😄
