Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
Indeed. Even on FM5, the Caterham is a real handful. But the difference here is that we'll be using a much better game (by the sounds of things). But hey, we all do like a challenge don't we?!?!?!
My copy of CARS has yet to arrive but cannot wait to get my hands on it.

Will the races be via Rolling or Standing Start? And will formation laps be included?

Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
Please be aware that there’s no official number boxes for this series. Because of this, every competitor is required to place their TORA race number on their vehicle where applicable.
Am I right in saying there is no option within the game to do this or have I totally missed where this can be done? Can't see anything that allows this

Many thanks for pointing this out.
As stated in the past, the rulebook isn't 100% official until we had our hands on the game. And it seems that your race numbers can't be applied onto the vehicles which is a shame.
You need not worry about TORA race number rule. That will be sorted within the next couple of days.
Also, I want to mention a couple of things. Firstly, after inspecting the circuit layouts, the first round will be at Cadwell Park Club layout.
Finally, after testing the Caterham myself, they are very hard to drive and I found that I was locking up the brakes very easily. So to cater for this, ABS will be permitted for this championship which should make the car easier to drive I hope.

The Caterham Cup is currently postponed until further notice. In the mean time, we would like to apologise to everyone who was really looking forward to this series. But it's only suitable for running when all the current glitches in the game are rectified.
We will keep you all up to date and will try to come up with a solution. Many thanks for being so understanding. This is just one of many things that makes this community great.

Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
Could it be run on Forza 5 with a revised track list instead?

Considering a lot of us dont have the game yet, may I ask what kind of glitches are preventing the series from being continued?

Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
What kind of laptimes are expected at Cadwell? Or will the weather be random until the day?

I'd second that. FM5 isn't without its own problems but nothing as much as PC currently has.
Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
The quick fix isn't too bad either. I did the whole steering deadzone thing and went from last place at Oulton to pole at Donington in the Caterham Classic.

Isn't the caterham DLC on FM5? Because if it is, I don't have it, and it would be a shame for you to run a series where you'd have to spend extra money just to compete in it.
Re: TORA Caterham Trophy - General Discussion
I have only just got the game and am having real trouble with getting to grips with the game.
only just about managed to get into a clio without tearing strips out of the grass, i thought i was agood driver until this moment in time.
Sooooooo many settings, i need redbull, coffee and a man nappy to get to grips with this

Haydie, are you using a controller or wheel? Any problems with the steering locking left or right?HaydieT wrote:
