If it's anything like Gran Turismo, then yes. Any amount of wheelspin will be controlled by momentarily reducing power to the wheels when TCS is on, and of course a reduction in power will slow you down. That reduction in power was pretty much negligible in Forza, but here it seems that taking TCS off has a positive effect once you learn the throttle control since there's no power loss.

I used to play without assists, too. But this game can be quite tough. I have it mapped to a button, too. So I can turn it off and on whenever I need it (e.g cold tires, rain etc.)

Yes of course, traction but the consequence is less power. I don't know my TCS times are similar to the non-TCS times.

Since taken traction off I have taken 1.5s off my time. Into low/mid 39's

That's a damn good Idea... You need it on with cold tires in those GT4 cars, I equate it to Ice Skating. I don't know how some of the guys are getting by in the Mustang. It seems nearly un-drivable to me with cold tires. I chose the Aston (which understeers by default) but I would still like to find a setup to make the Mustang drivable. I've tried some different things but can't seem to make it perform (at least with my wheel) near its capabilities. I was pretty disappointed in its default handling.

For the race though your tires will be warm from the start.

wow.. ultimate fail. Since the FFB changed on my wheel I've had to literally re-learn the wheel and could only pull down a 1:41 in qualy.

Any tips/advice for the Audi? Is anyone else driving it?
I have spent more time trying to tune than I have practiced and learning the track.

Had the game for a month but only got my wheel yesterday (just can't drive with a pad ) and had about 30 laps at Oulton in the Audi managing a best lap of 1:35.285 with about 50 litres of fuel on board I think. Pretty happy with that after one run.

Would love to be running this series but too late to make this round but hope to get involved soon

Peter, you could be my Teammate in the GT4 LoL. That 1:35 is very respectable with 50L. I'd say you're right on par with the RD league. This league if full of guys that will just blow you're doors off using controllers.

Pretty satisfied with qualifying! Got a new PB of 1:31.076 in the SLS. 30s are there but I keep messing up.

Ive managed to get into 39 on zolder but i think 38 is possible

is that GT4 EGGY? I've just managed a 39.2, but the car clearly wants to go faster, i'm not that capable though -.-

Just started testing setups at zolder. I use Audi R8 lms ultra. 133.5 in first session . Got to work with the setup tho there's a lot more to be had!

I have just done a 38.9 but i reckon 37 in it with having a play with tune thats olton tune im using

Down to a 133.0 now. Just Turned off tcs as now I'm using a wheel now should be a bit quicker with it off.

My best lap is a 1.30.9 in the Bentley.

Scratch that 37.9 but i reckon 37.5 is my limit for me lol

I have done 37.300 but really certian a 36.800 is in it if i get last corner right
