1:42.2 in the Ginetta GT4, more time to come. I've been having frame rate issues and I keep hitting the damn tyres at the chicanes.

1.37.555 SLS.

Ok i moved to gt3 class couse cars in gt4 are in my opinion so different, i mean aston ford bmw powerful but with lack of downforce ginetta less hp but lot quicker in corners.

I've done so far 1.34,0 round zolder in mclaren

1:40.8 in my first few laps in the Ginetta GT4 around Oulton, base tune

p.s Make that a 1:40.225 now

2 seconds faster than me on a base tune, how???

1.31.9 at oulton. Wierd thing is i reset my tune and just changed tyre PSI. TUNING IS POOP

I'm really lost on this game... 1:34.4 my best with stock tuning. :-(

Wouldn't be surprised if it is more about having a wheel or the right controller settings than having a tune.

I've dropped more or lost time in just playing with the settings than going thru and tuning the car.

But still learning this game and the way it drives.

It's all about becoming comfortable with the settings. Once everyone gets those down, then tuning will become a bigger factor.

Down to a 33.4 in the BMW. I'm struggling with braking because of the lack of rumble triggers. Once I have those, I can definitely push harder

Any tips to get into the 39's would be helpful

The Aston is pretty cumbersome on this track, but I've just done a 32.2

Yeah you are right. Last night I was in the lobby with Deft and others and I spent more time tuning in the pit that practicing on the track. The problem here is that I don't know use the metric measure. Time to learn...

I can see why some cars wouldn't benefit from a tune. The SLS is almost right in my opinion, but it's just a bit off, and I can see tire pressures correcting that. The Aston does seem to benefit from a tune though - it goes from complete understeer to complete oversteer as the fuel runs down.

Tuning just overheats tyres. Its ok for sprint racing, patuetic for endurance.

are you all using a wheel or the controller?

can't say for Mr Drive, but rest of us are controller users

and you're all using just the regular controller settings?

I actually had to correct some tire heating issues with tuning. The Aston's left front was getting cooked stock, but no matter what I do, the outer right front stays hotter than the inside, even with max camber!
