Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
We had some issues getting started in Lobby D. I think we finished about 90 minutes late. Project Cars froze for me on lap 5, after gaining two positions. There was a lot of contact in race two, especially multi-class contact, but still resulted in an entertaining race. Everyone seems to understand that there are far too many issues with Project Cars to take this seriously.
Here's to hoping for a better result for the rest of the season.

Really pleased with how things went. Made a few mistakes and lost a few positions, but some really good close battles throughout the pack.
Why would you say that?
I guess that makes me the naive one I'll say no more

Was some very good clean racing tonight...and speaking for myself regardless to the lack of communication between the GT3 and GT4 cars as regarding safe passing all when well.
Couple of issue with lag...only one car of note but apart from that frame rate was playable.
Anyways, thanks to all in my lobby.
I completely agree with this. was a great lobby and there was good racing. And tech was a great host, explaining all the rules at the start and even repeating if some people were unsure. All in all, a great opener.

Apart from that lobby 6 worked well few minor glitches but nothing major setting it up.
I like to say well done to all the GT4 cars, managed to to let the GT3 cars through nicely especially with no communication.
Shame about that. Racing was very fair and clean in lobby 6 the communication was very little but no one had any issues with overtaking GT4s and considering it was hosted by an american and most of our lobby was British it worked very well no lag spikes or issues on my end.
Any way hope to qualify better next round as my race pace would of put me in a completive spot for a higher lobby. The pace in race 2 was great at the front I know I disappeared a bit but I hit a rouge advertising board playing chicken and got a bit of suspension damage so I pretty much nursed it home got a bit tight one big mistake would of seen me lose 1st easy.

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
I had problems in lobby 6. No one invited me to a party so I didn't know when to start where to start etc. In the formation lap I had a crash, a Ginetta crashed into me. The lobby host didn't answer to any messages.
The racing was ok but I didn't like how the lobby was organised

Lobby B, Was good. Even though I wasn't in any contention for any podium or even battles. Too many mistakes by me which I need to learn before Zolder. Race seemed to go very well. Everyone behaved. Congrats to the winners in B lobby.
Just want to say is Sorry to CQR Shifty and RC R4P1DZ for my spin before the hairpin on Lap 2. Sorry if I caused you damage. Got a bit hot going in and Oulton Park.... Well it isn't Silverstone in terms of width. But Really Enjoyed it.

I apologise for being really late. Had 6 game crashes whilst inviting you guys to lobby. When we managed to get racing it was brilliant! Really good racing!
But I'm sorry we ran so late mate

No worries Creamy. Project Cars can be difficult to work with. But, I'm sure it will get smoother over time.

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Yeah it's a replay bug. Crashes the game at the sametime in the replay when you try to watch it, right?
Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Quick question, if I was still on my last lap (with damage) and didn't cross the line before the game ended, will no points be awarded to me? *note I was litteraly entering the pits when the time expired...

No frame rate issues or spikes, completely smooth for me
Bring on Round 2!
Only got the 2nd 3rd because my wife shouted at me, fumbled for the mic mute, hit the tyres, bye bye steering rack and pit but was good racing

Ha ha, creamy your view of my car disintegrating on its own was good. Car goes one direction and the rear wheel shoots off in the other.

Yeah it was wired, I just aimed for where you was. Your wheel stayed up on the grass to drivers right all race! I think in my opinion that you and the Audi losing your wheel was beciase of the lag contact at the final corner on the parade lap

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Group 5 ran great from my POV.
Really enjoyed the race and there was a good understanding between drivers too.
No issues at all with passing of GT4 cars and drivers showed good respect and moved out of the way to allow faster cars to pass.
The host TechnologicMau5 was good too, everything explained nice and clear to drivers at the start of the race, and except for a small delay getting the race started things ran smooth.
