Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Well, I have to say technologicalmau was a great Host, very stable room good conection, and we had a good race at GT4.
in race 2, one GT4 car was sent to boxes automaticaly, but he maded to cath the pack just to launch it. Game shows he was one lap behind but he actually finished 2nd. there is a note in the results.
A lag spike hit my car and sent me to pìts, but well, is just to be patient and wait for everything gets sort right.

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
I'd say my lobby went better than expected, no major issues to report I had issues with framerate, and there were a a few instances of lag, but no catastrophes came from it. That was with only 11/10 drivers though, so I'd say this game is still quite rough for racing like this. Big shout out to Manuel CR for helping me run the lobby.

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Lobby H and two wins. Quite happy with myself. Didn't have anywhere near as much as an issue as I did in qualifying or practice.
Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
This game is a [Censored] joke at its state right now. Frame rate crashes kept screwing me on corners causing me to hit the tire barriers on chicanes. Complete trash. Oh and some drivers in the lobby I was in (i didn't qualify so in lobby 9) need to really check their driving standards. Extremely poor driving standards.

Great racing in lobby B tonight. Really pleased with how things went. Made a few mistakes and lost a few positions, but some really good close battles throughout the pack.
Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
LMR Deftone is a TERRIBLE host, he put stability control off even though it is meant to be on. get rid of him.

Good couple of races guys and thanks being a first timer. Apologies DJFiss for the couple of contacts, I think we were even in the end, had some damage following an investigation with the tyres in the 2nd

Bit harsh much, Just saying.
i dont think it was done intentionally as most tora series we have done in the past have had it off.
So getting rid of him isnt going to help matters, you could have said something in lobby? Messaged him if you was in a diffrent class?

He's right though my bad guys! When we were talking about what we should allow assist wise, we agreed on TCS and ABS. I assumed stability would be off and am surprised to see its not.

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Good first rounds racing in E lobby. TechnologicMau5 was excellent as the host and was more informative than a lot of hosts i have had in the past...10/10 my friend
Was some very good clean racing tonight...and speaking for myself regardless to the lack of communication between the GT3 and GT4 cars as regarding safe passing all when well.
Couple of issue with lag...only one car of note but apart from that frame rate was playable.
Anyways, thanks to all in my lobby.

Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Great racing in B lobby with the GT4 chaps. Really good fun!
GT3 passes were clean although a bit jumpy. We see you guys, don´t worry!
(The Bentley is nightmare fuel, too big, too many lights, too noisy... )
Regarding PCars, the game "worked fine". The framerate and tearing was (as usual) a disaster but there were no major lag issues or bugs. From this experience, I can see that the host´s connection is very, very important. In qualifying, I had lots of lag but this one was fine. Keep up the good work Watson!

Shocking i know! Lol. Not too bad for my first race in a couple of years
Re: Oulton Park Race Day Thread
Lobby A went surprisingly well. When we first took off in race 1, the lag was really bad but it worked it self out after we took off. Made the mistake of going too slow on the outlap and my tires were cold when we started. Race 2 was even smoother.
I do have to say, GT3 drivers need to be more patient. With lag a constant issue, there were a lot of unnecessary risks taken. I was pushed off the track and I know wasn't the only one that happened to.
I just want Oulton Park to go away, I hate that track. Nowhere to pass at all, though we in GT4 had a really good battle to start Race 2 and me and Leadfoot were racing really hard at the end of the race.
