Re: Round 2 - Zolder Track Inspection
i think it would have made more sense to revise the tracks that could cause such an issue, like abandoning the pit at oulton

I found this out last night
the whole track limit monitoring thing won't work... unless you police something 100% then giving punishments for those caught is inconsistent - at most you can give a warning, which won't deter
if its a Reoccuring thing i think 3 times or more of cutting a track 2 place Penalty is put into place, well that is what is in the Stewards HandBook, not 2 sure if that will be implemented into the Qualifying or just the Race itself, guess that something for the Organisers to discuss.

Re: Round 2 - Zolder Track Inspection
Personally i think with quali if you get spotted, lobby host should tell you and you should not complete the lap at speed, but if you still go ahead and set a faster lap then you should get penalised.
As in real life your time gets removed if its dirty, you dont get a grid penalty

"if" you get spotted... that isn't fair, also it increases chat during qualifying which is never a good thing

Re: Round 2 - Zolder Track Inspection
Even in real life not everyone gets caught, i doubt many people will cut the chicanes tbf so excessive chat wont be an issue. Gillard did it last night but everyone was good

Re: Round 2 - Zolder Track Inspection
also in terms of running full damage, i don't think it is safe to do so when we can't even communicate with the whole field - therefore we can't call a yellow flag or safety car

You dont really need 100% communication, despite oulton being tight and almost impossible to pass gt4 cars it wasnt a disaster. with regards to full damage its more communication with your class as you will battle your class more than the other so thats why you party up with your class. so safety cars are not needed, it is only a sprint rave and not an endurance race too. maybe for silverstone 500 it would benefit more to keep the pack together.

maybe wasn't a disaster for you... but at the point my car was rolling across the track and i had no control over it... it would have been nice to alert the gt4s that there was an R8 roadblock

I was in a GT4 car that got ran over by a GT3 Bently actually my Lobby host, because I was in the middle of a corner. I was going to give him the Inside but instead he sent me to the Gravel Have you guys considered using Skype to communicate. You can have up to 25 people on a call, as long as it originates from a PC. And its Free!!!

Doesn't work unfortunately, it bogs the system down and the lag is beyond comprehension.
