TORA US FM4 Q: Porsche DLC?

I am wondering if everyone who races in FM4 TORA US has the Porsche DLC pack?

The reason I ask is possible coming series using Porsche products.

I've been trying to get it, but my game won't load the offers to buy it...

^ Turn 10 is investigating what has happened, most likely a glitch in setting up "backwards compatibility" of FM4 to XB1.

Seeing as MX-5 Cup was the first series I ever hosted at TORA, I may bring back the second series I ever hosted at TORA: 1974 IROC, using lock tune 1973 Carreras.



Not sure if it will be "directly" following the Miatas, as I want to see how Backwards compatability works. W/o Porsches in FM6, this may be a good reason for some to test out the new feature on their XBone.

Yeah but can a XBOX 360 and the XBONE race in the same Lobby?

I don't think so Tom. I think the two systems will still be separate. You'll just be able to play FM4 on the one, which you can't do right now.

We'll also have to see exactly how this is going to work. Will my current game transfer over, or will I have to start a new one. If I have to build a whole new garage I may not bother, especially since I'm loving FM6.

I have the Porsche pack, and yes, we are supposed to be able to race in the same lobby. It is supposed to be a XB360 emulator in a way. This is the best vid I have seen describing it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lPQuDyWULNU

I should have read the whole thread, I have the pack but I do not have and cannot afford a Xbone so I guess I'm out.

No no no. This is all about 360 and XB1 coexistence, as the hopes and plans are for those on the new console being able to join us on the dinosaur via backwards compatibility. If that works smoothly, the plan is for those who've jumped onto the X Box One to be able to, and a good reason to, step back and race with us who are still on the 360.

If even this does happen, and I have my doubts that it will, all support for the 360 is supposed to end sometime in 2016. My guess is that means the servers will be shut down. I think the goal is actually to bring the games forward to the one so that we can continue to enjoy the online play in the future. On line racing in FM1 was lost forever when support for the original Xbox ended.

I still play Forza 1 on the 360, but I don't have any of the tunes and logos that I had on the original Xbox 1.
