^ Looks great. Erebus has that same paint on his 69 Boss 302.
I'm sensing a potential team???

I used the livery Mark Martin ran at Indy in '95 as the inspiration

Re: TORA US American Iron Media
My son picked the cars from this series via picking fridge magnets out of a carrier bag, the US version got the AMC Javelin, a car i have run in a couple of events on the former home Virtual Motorsports. Decided against the obvious Mark Donohue colours, been there, done that, the paint is actually the Jim Richards version from the Touring Car Masters, but with a busy couple of weeks ahead, no time to draw any fresh logos so the green turned blue, the white turned silver and the WRM scheme was sorted.

Re: TORA US American Iron Media
The second round of the American Iron Series took place at Laguna Seca. Unfortunately an Xbox Live issue meant the EU version had to be delayed until the 7th April. The US version didnt suffer though, but again unfortunately i was watching the Can-Am Duels which were running at the same time and as you have probably guessed by now, i dont miss NASCAR racing ......... ever!!
The good news though is BigBen0913 managed to save the Lobby Two replay, so heres a few shots, a bit late but better than never.
This week's round three comes from California and the tight and twisty Sonoma NASCAR Circuit, i shall hopefully be there for both rounds.
Re: TORA US American Iron Media
The US timezone saw me dragging out my fat bottomed girl in the AMC Javelin, unfortunately the repeat of the good qualifying run in the EU version didnt happen, although to be fair, the cut off times were beyond my capabilities. Lobby Two saw just ten cars and started off with me looking at a tyre wall being the meat in a turn one sandwich, nobodies fault, just a racing deal at the start of the race. After that, solid lap times and again being the benefit of only stopping once for fuel saw me finish a clear second
Re: TORA US American Iron Media
I probably should have taken a nap before the race instead of running laps most of the day it obviously did not do me any good, and the fact that my I had to move my did not help me much either not that it would have done much good for me as far as where I ended the race in. But it was fun.

Re: TORA US American Iron Media
I havent been able to run in the American Iron Championship for the past fortnight due to illness and hospitals, but thankfully fit and well for the Watkins Glen International round on the Short Course, which i will admit is a particular favourite of mine.
Across The Pond and the US Timezone saw a 20 car field assembled, i qualified 15th with the Javelin, and i finished 15th after the 36 lapper, with a personal best lap time in the process and a couple of good battles during the race, it was highly entertaining, even if i couldnt hear anybody in the lobby which after the start, may have been a blessing in disguise.
The incident above saw Ridin Sideways erm Ridin Sideways, having been spun out with two thirds of the field behind him, amazingly, all getting through with no contact, which on the replay is still beyond belief in my eyes.
Heres a few more shots from the US Timezone:-
Next week is the final round and Road Atlanta, a venue i enjoy but i may be suffering from sea-sickness with the Chevy Nova going through The Esses.

Re: TORA US American Iron Media
In the American Timezone, lonely race really, i found myself in a thousand feet gap front and back for large propotions of the race, so a good time to aim for a personal best lap time, i was desperate for a 1:31 and i missed out by .049 of a second, but a solid ninth place finish. Overall in the final table, 18th overall, but unfortunately i had missed three rounds due to illness / hospital, but for a fact, i will be back for season two later in the year.
