A couple reminders...

The start time of Race 5 is as follows:

  • Central Time:  19:30
  • Eastern Time:  20:30
  • UK Time:  00:30 (Tue)
  • West OZ Time:  08:30 (Tue)

Also, qualifying will be on the DAY track while the race is on the NIGHT track.

Im a cockpit only type of gamer, so the start of races involves alot of looking around the various windows and mirrors of your vehicle making sure your not going to hit anyone and this evening i got a good solid start on the inside lane, but knew about the three wide situation that i had thrust myself into, with Spanky and Flyin Mikey J on the outside of me, and looking through the right hand window approaching Turn One, all was looking tight but nothing to worry about. so i turned back to look out of the windscreen to find a concrete block which didnt move at all as i hit it at speed.

Yes, my brain didnt engage to fully functioning until Lap 6, what a muppet i felt, thankfully the mic is usually on mute otherwise i would be in the record books for the most profanity spoken in a ten second period!!

If I could only learn to not over drive the car. Once I concentrated on hitting my marks, I would have good laps and eventually caught up to you, Mikey. I am sorry for getting into you on Lap 28 (or was it Lap 29?). Fun race, regardless.

Next week is going to be a very fast-paced race. That should be very interesting!

I missed my marks too many times myself. If we hadn't been overdoing it, we'd likely have been a few seconds closer to Spanky, who seemed to have a lonely but evidently flawless race.
