Not so keen on the US server ping. Otherwise excellent. None of that rubbish faffing around getting people in like the console titles!

No issues as such I had fun shame I binned it both races lol...
Only thing I can suggest is to shorten practice. Imo it was too long for me. I got really bored and by the time the race came around my mind was numb even more so than usual lol. Everyone except me is a seasoned iracer and i practice through the week..thats my opinion don't know how others think..

Practise is optional, just make sure you are in the session before qualifying starts.
I find practising in the race session helps in iRacing as the car can feel very different with the various weather and track use conditions.

Re: Meeting 1 Feedback
I really enjoyed it, and was a fantastic standard of race craft (even if it got a bit messy at the end of race 2), and I had a great battle in race 1 with Quentin and Andrew.
Only think i would say is it would have been nice to see 15 or so cars on the grid. Is there a way of boosting participation? But that's just my opinion

Re: Meeting 1 Feedback
The series is advertised on the iRacing forums and there were a couple emails asking how to join. But nothing ever came of these.
I thoroughly enjoyed last night (apart from being a bit hasty with 2nd gear) and look forward to the next races as I love VIR. Hoping for more participants or the same full grid for it.

Re: Meeting 1 Feedback
I wouldn't change a thing!! I agree it'd be nice to get a slightly fuller grid, but from what I saw we had a LOT of very close and very fair racing! With fuller grids you run the risk of introducing people who might not race quite as cleanly .... just a numbers game really!!! If we could guarantee the same quality of competition, I say fill her up!!!
Thoroughly enjoyed last night, very well balanced competition with decent battles throughout the field .... congrats and THANK YOU to all involved with the organisation.

Re: Meeting 1 Feedback
Thanks Andrew, we have been trying to get this right since the last series. Still a few minor tweaks to be had but with the feedback, we can get there.
I have an apology to make to Anthony Gray as I was sure I sent him an invite to the club before the media day. Not sure what happened there but it all seems to have sorted itself out. Shouldn't have happened in the first place but my standards can be higher when I help organise things.

As far as the races go, leave it alone, I can't stand Summit Point and I had a ton of fun. Great battle with Craig and Andrew. Can't wait for VIR

Re: Meeting 1 Feedback
Thank you for all the great comments
Best thing to get more numbers is to spread word of the championship on social media, If numbers pick up Gordon and I will look at adding another championship.
Quick update to championship points - Drivers that retire from a race will be given half championship points, so even if you crash or get damage get fixed and get back out there!

Hey Gordon, no need to apologise, just one of those things. Was a bit weird as I was definitely in the league for the media day, so who knows. Anyway it was all sorted in the end and I managed to race, so all good.
I agree wholeheartedly with the previous comments, it all seemed very well organised and I'm sure the rest of the season won't be any different. It is a shame about the numbers but they will come I'm sure. Although it might be a bit of work, maybe publishing/posting a video in a TV style showing the close racing might drum up some additional interest? Just a thought.
I'm sorry to say that I won't be able to race in the next race, as I don't have the track but I will certainly be watching - probably on Quentin's Titch feed!
Have fun and see you all at Laguna Seca!
