Re: MSA TORA Watkins Glen 12H - General Discussion
Okay guys don't get me wrong I try my best to respect everyone but everyone who is ranting on Roscoe, cut the crap. How old are we? He acts the way he does because you all keep fueling the fire. I know Roscoe started it but is this a rant Roscoe thread or a general discussion thread? Move on and get these damn car builds up.

Is this a racing forum or a nursery?
Literally no respect for anything some people, builds have been completed though and the thread is up.

Re: MSA TORA Watkins Glen 12H - General Discussion
Wow, that was some great discussion that totally pertained to Watkins Glen!
Builds are looking solid. I'm interested to see what cars are chosen.

Jesus
I know that I'm at university doing education but I encounter more Bi*ching here than I do in a classroom full of teenagers...
Grow up and keep your childish comments to yourself. No one wants to read it and you're just wasting yours and everyone else's time.
Grow up and learn some respect. All of you

A Lap Times Thread with the balanced times from HaydieT like on Sebring would be cool

Could it be that we have to remove the air restrictor in the Porsche? That's the only way to build it up to R857 and it would justify the 10% Power Handicap.

Re: MSA TORA Watkins Glen 12H - General Discussion
Roscoe please re-read the comment sir, I painted between 80-90% of the cars on that grid. I ran the series solo, cause my second quit out I qualified people all week long. As I said, I knew my limitations, that is why it was 2 cars, not 20. Also I put up the in game cash prizes myself, no help from you or your team. So four years down the line you complain about the series? Really?

The Bentley needs 1x tire width on the rear to have 832LI
The Z4 dont have the option for the driveline that should be installed

Re: MSA TORA Watkins Glen 12H - General Discussion
Right here we go....
1)
Also it is important to remember that the 'spec' in real life does alter in regards to performance as restrictors are quite often changed after a handful of races (and certainly around Le Mans!) to try and keep the grid fair.
Now in an ideal world, we would have requested that teams stick to the same car but it was considered that the interests of fairness people may not wish to be tied to one car at uncompetitive tracks. So the option was offered andhas been duly taken up by a number of entrants.
The efforts of the guys behind the scenes to make sure the balance is good at each track has been fantastic and far from slamming them you really ought to be praising them. It's very easy to say 'oh I would have helped if you'd asked.' Hindsight is a wonderful thing!
This is a voluntary community, everyone running events and hosting lobbies etc does so because they are passionate about motorsport and want to help. They deserve your praise. We are always on the look out for more help in various areas, you only need ask.

True and not true. These cars in real life are £800k a pop, sometimes more depending on the manufacturer. Unless you're stupendously wealthy and have no sponsors to consider you simply aren't going to swap your car. That's real life, this is a game. In this instance, yes we do have that option. A bonus was laid out in Round 1 that teams who stuck with the same car throughout the season would benefit from that. Obviously some people aren't remembering that. This is what should happen, you don't see teams in real life swapping cars at each race.
