Re: TORA Spec Cup Season 3: General Discussion
IMPORTANT NOTICE
You might have already seen it in the Round 1 thread but here it is once again to make sure that everybody is aware of it:
There will be NO more exceptions for last minute joiners/sign-ups.
If you haven't signed up for the race in time (max. 2 hours before the start of the session), you will NOT be able to collect ANY points for that round. You MIGHT be able to take part, but you will not receive ANY points for it (also not for your team).
It's a harsh decision especially for a championship of that size but that's how it is. Sorry.

Re: TORA Spec Cup Season 3: General Discussion
Just to add further to the info desertrainfrog has put,
I will be applying the same rule to all new series so this should be done in all series come the new year,
The reason for it is to help out the people organizing the events and to cut down the delays on start times,
The only people that benefit from turning up late is the people that turn up late, the people this doesn't benefit are the staff organizing the event, the drivers who actually did sign up on time, but then have to wait about because someone decided 5 minutes before the race that they fancied racing so assume they can just stroll up last minute.
You have a whole week to sign in and it takes less than a minute for you to do so, if you don't know if you can make it then still sign in but choose the Maybe option, this way you will still get an invite but we'll know not to wait around if you don't show up.
You wouldn't turn up to a real racetrack late and expect everyone to wait for you to get your car ready so you shouldn't expect to turn up late here either. Its not fair on the other drivers so I'm sure you can appreciate why this rule needs to be put in place.

Not anymore, my scripts are getting better
Once the doc is setup, I don't need to touch it again, the forms open and close themselves, and purge all the signed out drivers from each rounds sheet to make less work for Marshals
I'll be adding more stuff to it in time as well

Re: TORA Spec Cup Season 3: General Discussion
Don't know where you got this one but if you take a look into the rules and regs you can see that there is one dropped round allowed.
But it will first be taken into account by the sheets, when the points for all races have been given out.

Re: TORA Spec Cup Season 3: General Discussion
I didn't see it as the start of an argument or something...dont worry
The rules and regulations we put together includes one dropped round. Other TORA series consisting of "only" 6 rounds might have taken it out (e.g. TCC), but we are keeping it for the ones that we are running...for now ^^
