Welcome to the TORA American Iron US Series!

Over the past few months, we've worked on rebalancing the carlist, and found a different PI seems to work well. Some cars that weren't up to pace now are, some that were deemed too fast now aren't, and some that weren't able to make the cut before now can.

AND... to address the concern that the field was spreading out too quickly, leading to a long Hotlapping session, we've decided to Reverse the Grid. The fast cars will now start at the rear. To discourage any attempts of sandbagging, we've implemented "Passing Points", a bonus point for each position gained over the course of the race.

We hope to bring you even more variety in competition and strategy, all while enjoying the fun of manhandling the beast that is a 3000 Lb 450HP Muscle Car.

I'd like to thank BIGBEN0913 and xJohnGalt117x for helping run things. Makes it go so much easier having a good crew to back me up.

And I'd also like to thank the entire B Lobby for a most enjoyable race tonight. It wouldn't be much fun w/o you all.

Good run in lobby b,some need to drive better, one and realy only problem is with CALLMEDARKSIDE, you need to shutt the f up in the lobbies when people are racing, we dnt want to hear you blabbler on about [Censored] the hole race

I need to give a big thank you to BIGBEN0913 for his great job in lobby A.

Also I have a very stupid question, is the ABS force off during the race? I ask this as I set my balance and force for the ABS.

ABS IS ALLOWED FOR THIS SERIES

Mercia the problem with the bs talking was NOT darkside it was a friend of somebody in lobby we need to implement setting parties to invite only but I do agree that darkside getting upset from getting hit from behind is his own fault for lag and blaming other drivers for it

Anyone get replays of Sonoma? I've got a request from the Media team, as they'd like to do some promo stuff.

Nice job hosting! Race night ran smooth, I'm happy with that, for sure. Got caught up in a couple bunch ups which put me well behind the 8-ball. Motorhead snuck through and he was pretty far gone by the time I got into 2nd. Gave it everything I had to catch up but I was just about 50 feet shy across the line. Well done mate, first crack at muscle cars and you win it! Another great battle, even though there wasn't much "battling" on track.

Coming through the pack I'm glad the Charger had grip off the racing line because there were a few butt clenching moments

It was the traffic that did it. As soon as you got clear air you were pulling on me and at the end I almost did a Tony Romo (as I said last night ). The last lap was really really tight, we seem to be inseparable, it's been that way since VM hasn't it? Still, lower class and muscle cars especially were usually my undoing but I must have adapted to being American! Not sure if I'll be at Cat Nat but early tests show me and/or the car to be crap there. We'll see

No, you definitely were not catching us. You weren't in the 59s constantly like I was, so there's that.

I got stacked up multiple times through no fault of mine, had one incident exiting the Boot with a blue Impala that I let get back going, apart from that I didn't have any issues. I believe it was HCR Merica that I passed going into the Bus Stop and I'm sorry for that, I didn't anticipate you braking so hard and fortunately there was room to get by but holy cow did it scare me.

You'll have your chance next week, Roscoe, but it'll be a strong week for the Charger, me thinks. Bring it, indeed.

Diablo, I have to give you major props for getting the Charger up to pace. I know a few have tried it, and nobody could get it to be as fast as the cars they ended up using.

It's always been one of my go-to cars in A class because it has a surprisingly high amount of grip at speed, so at a track like WG, you can really make the car work. Sure it's a bit slow on accel compared to the other cars, but some build tweaks will get it close. Not sure how the car goes around Cat Nat, just hoping I can get the right gear set up.
