Can we take a vote for reverse grid and maybe allow stm?

STM will slow you down, Something must be amiss with your tune.
iirc your using an elite controller, Check you haven't changed the stick sensitivity.
I run mine on default as I found the other settings didn't work that well for forza.

I have set my left trigger to 0 and 1% and right to 0 and 90% but I haven't altered the sticks and I'm using the paddles for shifting no clutch yet as I'm getting used to the paddles my car still has an oversteer issue coming out of corners even if I'm easy on the gas

Personally id go back to 0-100 on your right trigger youll have more control over throttle application.
Your gears could be too short or your diffs too high, too stiff on the rear springs.
Im not really that good at tuning but they`re some of the things i`d look at.

I'm not a fan of taking a vote. The US Presidential Race is good reason not to these days, as all you get is a giant douche vs a turd sandwich.
Besides, this format is well proven, and I'm also not a huge fan of fixing what's not broken.
But, if it's any reassurance, American Iron will return in early 2017 unchanged, with the same format we enjoyed this past season.

Was just thinking it would be more fun for us instead of feeling like hot laps

Re: Touring Masters UK Discussion
For the Sprint Rounds of three short races, power handicaps and reverse grid R3, its anything but hotlaps.
Then we get the enduro rounds, with pit strategy and all, which I'll admit may get strung out but is something different than the usual.

Re: Touring Masters UK Discussion
IMO the builds could use work. Some cars I've tuned are over a second slower on a minuite lap 😬
Lotus Carlton needs a race air filter and a sport exhaust, and ditch the oil and cooling.
Sierra Cosworth needs a Race air filter
The commodore could use lighter rims, and a supercharger over a turbo, the car is heavy enough already.
It boggles my mind as to why the 190e has the rally engine, the stock engine with a few parts and 1 width f/r would do just fine.

Re: Touring Masters UK Discussion
^ The builds as they are, are the product of a committee that had spent many hours building and testing them multiple ways on the courses used throughout the whole series. What may be great at Silverstone may not be all that good at Catalunya. What may be OP at Lime Rock could be meh at Monza.
For the record, I let them make the call on these builds, and stand behind their decisions.
However, if left up to me, I'd simply call for Max HP and Min weight at a set PI, and cut anything that is too quick compared to the rest, as I will admit that is the laziest way out, but that formula is proven to work as well as anything else.

I have to disagree with you Mikey. The min/max/PI thing doesn't always work well and can easily be abused in some cases. Building the cars to a set standard is much more likely to maintain close racing. Plus, if you use your method, then people can change their builds willy nilly between rounds and take out power for the tighter tracks and put it back in for the longer ones. Whereas just giving people builds ensures that you know that car A will be better at lime rock than car B but car B will be better at Road America than car A (just examples).
A really good example of this is the lemons @ lemans that I won in 2014. We had the min/max/PI rules in place and evan just put ALL of the power in a Mustang King Cobra and no grip parts and we won by miles (literally) because it was so unbalanced compared to what other people built.
Also with your method, you not only have to tune the car to go fast, you have to build it properly too which not everyone is good at. I can tune fairly well but I cannot build a car to save my life which always puts me on the back foot in series that have those rules.
Re: Touring Masters UK Discussion
^ LeMons only uses a Min Weight in one class and Max HP in the other, but i do see your point.
I was more referring to American Iron and the FM4 TCC rules that inspired it. The 'open' builds allow for people to maximize their car for their own tastes and driving style, as well as being able to adapt their car for each circuit and the result is close racing between a variety of cars. Personally, I have found the opposite, as tuning gears is not a strong suit of mine, so I am usually better off with a stock or street trans than I am a race trans (which is required in this series, optional in Am Iron) and wouldn't mind losing some HP or tacking on 50 pounds' weight for some extra tyre widths.

I've got to get them shared. But yeah,, that was as clean and close racing as I've ever seen. 1000 ft from first to last for three races.

1000ft, that's very impressive racing from all involved, well done.
Lobby B was a little more, ........ connective, shall we say, but overall the racing was good and the 5% handicap was noticeable more-so than it was in the last series.
Re: Touring Masters UK Discussion
Great racing in Lobby B tonight, top three close from beginning to end, great to watch from 4th place

Yes that was a good race between the four of us in that pack.
