TORA IndyCar Series - Lap Times

Because I loathe Yas Marina, went and lapped Road America. 1:37.3 there, and infinitely more fun. Wish we could skip Yas lol

37.3 at Road America for me as well. I can see times into the 36'a, but having never raced anything faster than a GT3 Lamborghini this is a major learning curve. The car's a blast to drive tho 👌🏻

44's are there, this track is just annoying as [Censored] lol

44.7. can we never ever come back to this track again? It's terrible to practice, and terrible to race.

tire wear sucks at Yas Marina. By lap 8 all my tires are 50% or higher.

I'm with IceMan one this one. I know I'm not as fast as the rest of you guys, but there is no way in hell that I'm 12 seconds slower.

I'd just like to remind everyone i have a lap set on the leaderboards. The account is "Forza Arts" and I believe the lap time is a 44.4. If you want to race a ghost there you go. I went a bit wide out of the last turn but that's only gained me a tenth at most opposed to if i took the corner the right way. Hopefully that helps any of you not near those times currently

44s are reasonable for sure. My 45 on the boards is absolutely awful lol

Normally, I don't get triggered about lap times that much, and would leave this alone, but for some reason the way this comment and others came across to me as downright disrespectful and snarky, especially knowing how much time I've put into practicing for this [Censored] track, pissed me off. I don't know what stick you have up your butt, but take it out and sit down.

Firstly, surely I have been around long enough for everyone on this damn site to know that I do not lie about stuff. I have never lied about lap times or anything on this forum.

Secondly, I don't have to prove myself to you or to anyone. I
think I've proven myself to be one of the faster drivers on here, especially at hot lapping. But against my better judgement, here you go:

damn that's fast. im usually about 2 to 3 seconds off the leader pace, but seems like im about 7 off this time. not questioning anybody's legit-ness, just saying... damn. lol. hopefully will be able to shave some more time off that before sat.

Dramatic pace difference is only another reason out of many for never coming here again lol

Haha. I actually don't hate this track, but it doesn't seem to like me very much. I'll bet I can pull a little closer by race day, my lap wasn't perfect, and I know I could do better. Time to go chase some ghosts.

high 36's me thinks for Road America, think the average will be around a 37.8

36.910 for me right now. There's about 2 tenths left in it though, just hard to put the lap down.
