The RL Cup S2 - Details

We're back! Right, I would like to thank the four teams which took part in S1, and members who have given their feedback on how we should move on as a series. Many of the changes made addresses the issues we had in S1 and in TURN Rocket League (Our NASL basically. Bonus points to American Soccer fans who get that reference.) Here's the questions we took on:

Team Entries:
Racing groups can now enter two entries. We've also extended the team cap to eight teams.

Servers:
On registration, we've added a "Preferred Server" slot in which you tell us which server you would like to play in. If both teams choose the same server, we know now to choose that server. If we have a US-East and EU team, we'll find a compromise.

Tournament Style:
You asked, we delivered.

It's still a one day tournament, but it actually looks like one now. Teams will be put in groups by lottery since we don't have any rankings at the moment. The Group Stage will involve playing each team in your group twice, with the two games being five minutes long each, and a win being one point. Once all games have been played, the points will be tallied (Tie Breakers will be Goal Difference, then Goals Scored) and the Top 2 teams in each group move on to the Semi Final. The Semi Final will be a best of three, and the winners move on to the final. The final will also be a best of three as well, and the champion will be crowned.

We'll still have dedicated hosts which will set up the lobbies. Captains will be able to contact the hosts via a Xbox Group Chat during the competition. Please cooperate with them. On a side note, the Rocket League Public Lobby community has picked up a bad reputation due to the banter/abuse which happens in the text chat. I'm expecting we won't have any issues about that in this series. Other than that, enjoy the competition!
