Smart Cup - More Details
Hi Guys
Few more details regarding the Smart Cup idea.
The set PI will be 375 with a max HP min weight limit I'm currently unsure of as I didn't think to write it down. There will be no tuning of car setup in any way (setup will be provided as will vinyl pack)
All Driver Aids will be allowed but not mandatory.
Maximum of two lobbies = 30 drivers (+2 lobby hosts)
Lobby entry will be randomly determined prior to qualifying beginning, which will be four laps in length (1 warmup 3 fast).
Staying in same lobbies, 1 x 30 minute race. (Would pitstops be required on Sport / Race tyres for races this length? If not, would drag tyres be worth looking at?)
The overall winner will be the best race time between the two lobbies. In theory, you could win your lobby and finish seventeenth, giving an interesting battle
Four Rounds for the opening series, looking at Silverstone Int, Infineon NASCAR, Motegi West and Nurburg Short.
Contact rules will be Touring Car-esque, e.g. if you remove someone from the racing surface you'll get a penalty but rubbing is allowed.
Possible "Inverter" award for the person to complete the most 360 degree rotations during the series, allowing them to run an upside down R in the following series.
Day to be confirmed but looking at running it at 7pm GMT (shouldn't take any longer than an hour)
Any suggestions?

Re: Smart Cup - More Details
Pit stops will have to depend on how much wheel spin the car has. If it doesn't have wheel spin, then there should be no need for a pit stop. If there is loads of wheel spin, a pit stop would probably be necessary.
