American Ironman Discussion
Welcome to the Inaugural American Ironman Enduro.
This single stint three hour marathon in the iconic vintage Trans Am racers from the late 1960s-early 1970s set at the picturesque Road Atlanta circuit is our way of celebrating United State's Independence Day holiday. With race time being in prime time for Europe, and early enough in the day for the holiday barbeques and fireworks in America, is bound to see a mixed grid from both sides of the big pond.
The car list has been balanced in terms of lap times and fuel economy, and with a two lap difference in fuel runs between the thirstiest beast and the most economic car, we've managed to equalize the number of pits stops required. However, personal preferences such as downforce settings, gear ratios or one's use of TCS, all of which can use more fuel.
Also, we've borrowed a few rules from TEC, which allows for all lobbies to be scored cumulatively. This means a miscue in qualifying that would relegate you to a lower lobby is not a game breaker as your results will be mixed into the other lobbies when scoring the overall results.
Good luck and have fun! Hope to see you on track come the Fourth of July!

Re: American Ironman Discussion
I have looked in the rules and I may have over looked it but i never saw a time for the race. What time will the race be on July 4th?

Re: American Ironman Discussion
My internet ran out of talent 30 minutes/44 miles in.
Positive, the racing was close and I didn't make any major mistakes in that time.
