Forza Motorsport 7 Wishlist Thread

So with E3 having just passed and Forza 7 now officially announced, let the hype begin! Here's where you can spam all of your wishlists like we've done for the last couple releases!

I've separated my wishes into three: Cars, Tracks and Game Features

Cars:

Some mid-range open wheels! We've got low (Formula Mazda, Formula Ford), we've got high (Formula One, IndyCar). I'd like to see some Formula 2, Formula 3, Indy Lights etc.

Ginetta. Some of the most fun I've had on PCARS is in the Ginetta GT3, 4 and Junior!

NASCAR XFINITY and Truck series vehicles. I'm biased, but it'd be so good!

More recent GT cars. I feel like I'm not alone here...

Superkarts! 250cc and 125cc - I'd be in heaven!

In an ideal world, I'd have a list way too long, but I've limited it to this for now:

Circuit Gilles Villenueve
Hermanos Rodriguez, Mexico City (with GP, Classic, Oval and FE layouts)

I could go on...

Game Features:

Increased Lap Count - I'm sick of running oval races in segments! 200 would be fine, we even have an exhibition race with 200 laps in FM6!
In Lobby Tuning - Rumoured to be coming back!
Ability to control your car post-race. Even if ghosted, this would stop lapped drivers having to battle the AI and it would allow for celebrations!
Window Numbers + Names!
The Ability to pick a specific car for the AI to drive in on free play mode.
Save Lobby Settings
Ability to skip to certain laps in Replays
Flashing Headlights
Jumps for the planned trophy trucks.

These are just my hopes! Question is, what do YOU think? Post below!

Cars:

Nothing that would never be, has never been competed in on a race track (Vans, SUVs) Save the disc space for better purposes.

The "missing" current gen GTE/GTLM cars, i.e. Aston, BMW M6

Trans Am's TA2 cars

NASCAR Trucks

The "missing" current gen BTCC cars, i.e. Honda, Ford, Subaru

And when adding classic race cars, for the love of God, add more than one of any certain year/era/rules package. Example, they added the Cougar GTO car, with none of its competitors, same with the RX7 GTU... need more than one to race anything but a spec cup with it.

In Pit Stop Limited Tuning, i.e Tire Pressure, Brake Bias, Downforce (things they can change on a real pit stop)
Four Wheel Independent Tuning
Increased Lap Count
Realistic Weather rather than "No series in the world races in these conditions" levels of rain
Moveable Notifications rather than in the middle of the screen (especially helpful in a brake zone or pass attempt)
Ability to change colors on Manufacturer Vinyls (try putting "Brembo" on a red Ferrari)
Ballast in Upgrades that affect PI rating
Ability to remove chrome trim and mouldings in Weight Reduction (first thing to be removed when cutting weight)
Allow for different fuel usage rate in Lobby Settings (Real or High)
Soft/Medium/Hard Race Tire Compounds

lol. agreed. I think they have you on that one. Supposed to have dynamic weather in 7. I would assume that includes variable levels of rain.

I can probably live with whatever they give us as far as cars, tracks, and other goodies, but please for the love of god give us AI that actually know how to race. Always been the weakest part of Forza.

Race Director can control affect of sticky zones and dirty laps
Realistic weather and day/night transitions
Driver Ratings
Fuel adjustment
Easy BOP changes(weight/power changes)
Option to put distance in seconds
Different tire compounds
Race Director can control time in pits because of damage, penalties, etc.

I'd say so - to even use it for the Xbox One S or the Xbox One X (all we need is an Xbox One N and we have the NSX but i digress) you have to buy a separate adaptor!

Functioning Dragracing with Bracket Racing.
setting up a dile-in, burnouts and staging.

Making the Oil/Cooling upgrade Functional by adding overheating. Take or Give to many impacts to the radiator could damage it and cause overheating. Even long races if you don't have a oil/cooling upgrade the water could start to boil and slowly overheat.

Add a new type of tire called Time Attack. Its a Super Soft slick that gives More grip than the race slick but degrades much faster.

Proper rollcages for trucks.

Was a thing waaay back along but unless you've got a three screen set up you invariably end up looking out of a window into your street rather than the screen lol
I'd rather have VR support to make this a viable option. PC2 with VR looks absolutely spot on in this regard.

I played DIRT on a PS4 with VR, and looking around in cockpit was awesome. It gives me motion sickness after a while, though. If you go VR in an endurance race, I'd recommend a puke bucket.

Oh yes so that I wouldn't have to start my own lobby just to practice with a car which has a 15% power handicap and/or grip handicap.
I guess it won't happen as we have been asking for this for a long time now.

Would like to see a Canadian track. say Mosport GP.. add the DDT for fun. maybe Calabogie.

AI needs to improve so they don't all pile up into the first corner. They also need better pitstop strategy so they don't pit after the first lap or on the last lap.
Also be good if they could run upgraded cars (sure they used to in 3 or 4)

I think at this point, we can easily add a:

- Listen to the Racing Community to what's wanted that still play your Motorsport titles long after the "Casual gamer" left for other games, including Forza Horizon.

To T10 I ask this about any SUV and offroad vehicle being in "Motorsport" especially when there's no offroad venues in the game for them to race on.

They have explained it many times Mikey. It's not just a racing game but a "driving experience", which is why there's such a wide variety of vehicles. A limo doesn't belong in a racing game either. Thing is, you don't have to use them if you don't want to. A lot of people do like them though, hence their continued inclusion in the game.

^ Thing is, many of those that do use them do so just to wreck and ruin others' Forza experience in public hoppers. As long as SUVs are there, there will be no such thing as good racing.
