NEW SI GUIDELINES FROM YOUR LEAST FAVOURITE STAFF MEMBER!
NEW SI guidelines are in place. Please take time and care to read them. This is to make the SIs more efficient, punctual and succinct.
- 1 click = 1 punch in HCR Motorhead's face:
- Before submitting an SI, please click the spoiler below.
Help us help you by making the process more efficient.
Staff and stewards are volunteers, please respect that and please follow the instructions to ensure your SI is acceptable.- Snape kills Dumbledore:
- Let's help each other
1. PLEASE SUBMIT ON TIME
You must submit the SI before midnight the following day, midnight being relative to local time of the hosted race. (GMT/BST for UK/EU races, EST will be used for US/CA races), thus giving 26-28 hours depending on the event, and mitigating uncertainty caused by length of races or unforeseen delays. For endurance races (races with multiple stints, an extra 24 hours is permitted, catering to entrants given the magnitude of large 12-24 hour races.
LATE SIs ARE INVALID AND DELETED.
2. YOU MUST PROVIDE A CLIP
Simply saying "Replay is shared..." is not acceptable. If you have the replay, save us time by taking a clip and submitting that in the SI. If you broadcast on twitch, take a clip or give an accurate time stamp. Failure to do this hence wasting stewards' time may result in action taken on you.
3. ENSURE CLIP IS GOOD QUALITY
We can't give what we can't see. Moreover, please make sure you have at least one pass in real time. Telemetry is useful but it is useful to see the incident in real time before delving deeper into telemetry. Failure to provide a reasonable clip may also result in action taken against you.
4. BE SUCCINCT AND CIVIL WITH YOUR SUBMISSION
All SIs are publicised unless invalid. This means what you say is visible to the defendant when you submit it, and in the public when settled. Please be civil. Also, be succinct. Give us the relevant details and context we may find useful, but don't give us a whole life story. Saying "HCR Motorhead is a knob and crashed into me," is not sufficient. Please give more detail and be more polite, because people will see what you say!
