Invitation to TORA
We invite TORA to Season 4 of the IFCA Trans-Am Relay Challenge. The invitation is to one official TORA team to represent their league in this team relay event Saturday, June 8th 6:00EST @ Homestead road course.
Invites are being sent out to several other leagues to field a team to represent their group too, like FRB, SimR, and the IFCA. Each league is allowed only 1 official team.
Our goal is to honor and support the league community through team competition by giving everyone something new and fun to do and cheer about across league lines. We are using a unique team relay format based on 44 limited build Trans-Am cars in A-Class.
The grid is limited to 12 teams and every team must qualify to get into the season. Each team will get two 4lap chances to make it in.
Our hope is to bring the league community closer together in solidarity with each other, so that more attention is paid to the racing aspect of Forza in the future.

Featured Cars for Season 4 June 8th
In case you didn't get a chance to check out the June 8th Season 4 car list over at the IFCA, I'll post a few over here for people to build and try over the next couple weeks.
Privateer Build (driver rating 1950.000 or higher)
1969 Camaro SS
513hp/483tq/3268lbs A619
-- after not getting much attention in Season 3 we decided to up the ante with the 69 Camaro by increasing its handling ability and adding a little more power. Our focus with all of the cars is toward handling and making them as fun to drive as we can within the specified build limits. So it's not just about adding power to make them competitive, we want them to be easy to drive too.

1969 Ford Mustang Boss 302
414hp/367tq/2990lbs A622
-- who doesn't want to see this Trans-Am champion run well? The key was to get the weight down which improved the acceleration, handling, and braking. It still has speed, but everything has shifted again towards greater driveability to get better lap times. A legit 1:57.700 car at Daytona, this horse is a stallion now!

Mini vs Cortina
Privateer Build (driver rating 1950.000 or higher)
1965 MINI Cooper S
316hp/222tq/1423lbs A659
-- this car is of the Devil! But as a Trans-Am regular back in the day, we had to make it work with our group. The Mini is a world-famous giant slayer and has numerous championships to its credit. We had to go the extra mile to get our car to become a viable A-Class competitor including giving it a full race suspension and race transmission. The car is insane to drive and requires only the most experienced FWD experts to control her. The mid-range thrust is ridiculous once the tires stop spinning. And that is what this Mini is all about, mid-range punch! Top end isn't bad, handling is fair, brakes do well, but traction is hard to come by even with full-width racing slicks. And the higher horsepower Factory build is little better, there is no wonder that its P.i. is 666. It's evil!

1966 Ford Lotus Cortina
318hp/254tq/2044lbs A619
-- the Lotus Cortina is a familiar face to Trans-Am racing and just about any sedan racing around the world. Its light predictable handling and twin cam motor have put many larger cars to shame. In the 3rd race of the inaugural season of the 1966 Trans-Am, it won outright beating all the American muscle cars at Loudon, New Hampshire, (hint hint.) Our version of the car is much the same but with a few extra ponies. We stayed with the 1.5L Twin Cam and slapped a turbo onto it so it could remain competitive. It has slingshot acceleration, good handling but light, and average brakes at best. Top speed is not its best feature. The Cortina will pull predictably humorous wheelies but no more than the real car you see pictured above.
