Mmmmmm. Just Free Play. I don't run friction assist, but believe I may have toyed with it in case I went off track to see if it gave any benefit and may not have un-did that setting. I'll check tonight. Thanks!

I just signed up, but couldn't understand how to do it as a Privateer, so I signed up as a team, is that gonna be an issue? I have this fake team name on my cars livery if that matters. Do we have practice rounds? I'm at home a lot, haha

As a heads up, discussing SIs outside of the SI process isn't something that is looked upon favourably.
Any issues should be raised to the head steward LZR Diablo. If you feel that is not enough then I would recommend copying Ax4x Big Ben in to the conversation as he is the TORA President.

Description by isyoube: Starting video at 3:51ish - This video goes to show Ax4x's careless driving which was the underlying issue in an SI last week against me. After my incident with FFR Booster, I was careful to come back on the track mildly and stay track right. farcanel drive into me (again), A) not leaving me room track right but B) rubs into me while pulling in front of me going into a brake zone.
At this point, into the left hander, I believe he makes contact with whoever is track left, and have no clue who was at fault or what happened, but then I got hit off track right. (2nd time in two weeks he's knocked me off track) When attempting to come back on track (watch closely - I'm under control and at a proper angle, not sideways coming back on) farcanel give me no room and hits me again, knocking me off track again.
Stewards Decision: There will be a -3 Championship Points penalty given to both Ax4x Farcanal and to Isyoube for causing avoidable contact, and this one is a very odd scenario, so I'll do my best to explain the thought process as thoroughly as I can.
Mid-straight, Farcanal starts to lean to the right and makes contact with Isyoube who is alongside. How/why Farcanal moved over when he was clearly there, I'm not sure. It's a negligible offense but one that should be avoided. On entry, Farcanal turns in and seems to forget there's a car on his inside. He makes contact which pings him back into Isyoube, who goes off track. This is worthy of a -3 points penalty, fairly cut and dried.
Now the trickiness begins. Isyoube then attempts to rejoin the track but while he is nearly lined up with the edge of the track, he is coming back to the inside where Farcanal already has someone to his outside, therefore has to take a narrow line.So you're saying the right thing to do was to keep driving through the grass, let everyone by, and let my race be screwed rather than cautiously try to salvage something? Isyoube doesn't compensate for this and clips Farcanal, which puts him around, too.Absolutely incorrect.I knew he was there (proximity arrow) and "compensated" for him, which is why you see me enter cautiously and was barely on track when he hit me again. When you go off track, regardless of reason, you must re-enter safely without causing contact. Without question, absolutely what I did. It does not matter if you were hit off course, and said contact does not give that driver the right of way when re-entering the track. Isyoube was well within control of his car while trying to rejoin the track, and could've (and should've) adjusted for the 2 cars on his left. For this reason, Isyoube gets a penalty, too.Makes no sense. I knew cars were there, but I have the right to get back on course. I was barely on track and wheel turning to the right when I was hit. Farcanel is the one that did not compensate for me being there. Your reasoning makes no sense and I'm being penalized by TORA, again, for no reason. Unlike many other participants, I am an actual real life racer, have done many racing schools, turned thousands of HPDE and Race laps around various tracks. What you're reasoning makes no sense.
From Isyoube's POV in hood cam, it looks like he's pinged off the track and is pinched when he rejoins. This is exactly what happens, my game cip and the youtube you uploaded. No ifs, and, or buts about it. I was not given room (which he had every reason to know I was there and what I was doing).However, looking at the replay (see the two clips from YouTube) from 3rd person, you can see that the story changes. No, it doesn't.I saved his clip with telemetry up to also show that he was full throttle (albeit in a gear too high)Which negates your insinuative and slanderous "full throttle comment"trying to rejoin the track. That wasn't the right thing to doNot the wrong thing to do.. It may have been the correct angle as Isyoube said, but given the circumstances of drivers around him, the correct thing to do would've been to chop the throttle and re-enter behind Farcanal, and to file this SI after the race. Again, instead of cautiously coming back on track (not angled, straight across, or out of control) I should have just stopped and let everyone by and then come back on track? I'm being penalized because of another driver not giving me room back on circuit, when he should be getting a stiffer penalty for his actions???????????????????????????????????????? Your reasoning for why I'm getting the penalty can easily be flipped to say I wasn't given room/he didn't give me roomI'll reiterate this from above: When you are rejoining the track, you do NOT have the right of wayNor did I demand right of way, rather trying to avoid the sand pit, get back on track under control and cautious to continue my race without losing too many positions. You have to go slowly or wait until it's safe. Was slow and safeIn this case contact was made by the original perpetrator, but it could've just as easily been another driver that got clipped as an innocent bystander.Another driver would have been more cautious. My video clips and every SI the last 2 weeks has shown his inability to control his car or deliberately run over me. YOU are disregarding this for some unbeknownst reason
Generally if you run hood or bumper cam, you are not going to be able to see the other drivers around you as well as you would in chase cam. Proximity arrows on for this reason. I know where people are and I DON'T HIT PEOPLEView choice is 100% open, but it's your responsibility to have spatial awareness. To go along with the comments from SI-819, the warning has been established that these two drivers need to drive cleaner with each other, and spatial awareness needs to improve. There is no agenda as claimed by Isyoube, he's not being specifically targeted.This, sir, proves you are wrong and you are part of the problem. I expect there to be minimal issues from either of these drivers in the near future.
Again, would love feedback from the masses, but not admin who will undoubtedly side with their own.

7.5.17 If all four wheels have left the track or you have become caught on sand you must rejoin at the nearest point compatible with safety. It is unfair and unacceptable to simply rejoin the circuit as quickly as possible without any regard for the drivers around you who have been able to retain control of their car. If this means stopping at the side of the circuit until safe to rejoin then that is what you must do, even if that means you rejoin last.
Huh. That's a rule that's specifically says, you must wait if you cannot rejoin the track safely, even if that means stopping. You hit somebody attempting to rejoin the track. You don't seem to agree with it, though. However, let me also direct you to a couple further points in the handbook:
6.1 All drivers must be aware of the TORA Driver's Handbook and series specific rules. These rules must be adhered to at all times. By registering for a Championship, the driver is agreeing to comply by the TORA Driver's Handbook and the Rules & Regulations of the championship. See rule 5.4
5.4 It is a condition of entry into the championship that all competitors, teams, team members and people associated with any of the above agree to be bound by the TORA Driver's Handbook and the various TORA championship Rules & Regulations including any amendments, variations or statements relating thereto.
This means anyone who signs up to race at TORA is agreeing to the fact they're familiar with the rules of the road and the event structure. The rulebook has been in place nearly since the site opened back in 2008 and was revised in January of this year to update procedures within Forza 7, as well as changes to the penalty structure to be point-based instead of position based. These rules are not up for your interpretation. So, you signed up for a series, broke a rule, and are complaining the rules aren't fair. That's not how it works.
In the 3 SI's you filed this week, all three were actually ruled in your favor, apart from you being held accountable for an unsafe rejoin and causing avoidable contact. I'm not sure what else to tell you.
I didn't write the rules. I just enforce them.
