anything is slow in straight compared to the TVR

unfortunately there are some tricky bits where the steering comes into play...

looking forward to Rd America though - one of my favourite tracks.

Road America:

LMP1 - 1:43.866 with the 2001 Gulf Audi R8 (if I'm allowed to have the last seat)
GT1 - 2:00.6xx

im pretty sure for lmp1 you would need to use the puegot

just ran a couple laps of road america in the peugeot

i think i'll just stick with GT1

.....and on the next lap, i had a BUNCH more green time, but the karosel spit me out. but im pleased i switched cars.

Really starting to regret the Aston, especially with a best time of 7:17.. I have plenty of control, I just have to take everything so sloooow and the speed in the straight isn't enough to boost me up like I hoped.. Im also a little side-tracked now, so Im gonna wait till the weekend to actually test.

I tried out an M3, thats around the same pace as the Vauxhall!

I ran a lap of 7:27.XXX on my first lap and was 8 seconds up on my second lap when I F'd the lap up. Lol. In theory my GT2 will go sub 7:20's. How is that compared to the GT1 cars?

thats not bad Gashi. my GT1 Z06 can run well under the 7:10 bracket pretty consistently. i just need to work on the consistency after the jump towards the end of the lap. seem to mess up over there to be able to find how fast my car can really go. lol

im around the same sort of times as you switch. i reckon i could do a low 7 if i nailed every corner.... unlikely though.... lol

im very consistent in the lower PI cars Butcher. this will be my first Race, let alone an Enduro, in anything higher than S951 around Nurburg (when i ran a DB9 and simply torched the competition. this was in Team DMR's COT Series II, and the 'Ring was the finale) I'll have to get on Forza b4 the 11th to get my consistency down after that jump. But the rest of the track, im golden!


....im wondering how qualifying will work? will we get 20 minutes instead of 10 That would give us GT1's at least 3 laps to Qualify

its going to be the ultimate test in concentration....
