Tier 2 - 3 audi s4

Great game a bit of fun, much better than grid and pgr4

Not same cat as forza, but good fun.

I still think PGR4 has better handling then Shift, but on the whole Shift feels a bit like Sim-Arcade. Kind of like PGR4 and Grid in my view.

At the moment I am using a Camaro SS in Tier 2, with a car rating of 10.26.

Thats what it is a aracde game with a few more sim elements, they have not made GT5 or forza 3 but a good game which any 1 can pick up n play

How did you unlock a race car so damn quick?

So the demo comes out AFTER the actual game? What is the logic in that?

The demo will include Spa and London as circuits with 5 cars to choose from: Nissan GTR, BMW M3, Lotus Exige, Dodge Viper and an 'unlockable' Pagani Zonda.

I guess the demo will be a bit of fun to beat boredom If I get shift it will probs be at Christmas time when I have money. But at the moment its FM3 as the main priotiy with DIRT 2 second if i can get money.

In fact it is the works conversion. Also I have it so early Matt, because I saved up the money more earlier.

Instead of buying a mix of cars, once I reached tier 2, 3 and 4.

Wait hold on. In Shift I can put Race bodykits onto standard cars? How did you paint it like that is there a livery editor or something? Or is it like grids?

Its kinda like Grids really. Nothing amazing and it's tough work

thereis a livery editor and there are multiple options for "stock" paints (which arent too bad actually) im currently saving for the works upgrade on my murcielago

hmmmm this is sounding more and more intersting. Gets an avergare of about 9 everywhere and you guys seem to like it. Might be worth a go

I think it is ok, but in my view it is only worth a rental. Which I am doing, but my rental period ends in two days time.

Other then that, I think you should save your cash for something else. Maybe a new controller, if something happened to it.

One of the worst experinces I had with the game:

I was doing the stock Carrera GT race on Spa, and everytime. I took the Raidillon Eau Rouge corner, my car would bounce about if I took the corner with the same racing line as the AI.

Along with the same speed.


One option, I think EA should of added:

Allow some people to use their D-Pad to control the steering.

Yeah mate I'm gonna buy other things before I buy Shift, but I might give it a go at some point. At least there will be a demo of it
