Oh, and extended/different version of the previous video showing more V8s, Le Mans (I think there is another LMP2 car in the part with the Blue Livery Pug, 1:00 in) and a Dodge wheeling at a drag strip.

Apparently this is the actual intro to the game. I hope not cause the FM2 intro was good and I would rather have something similar to that rather than having a bunch of in-game shots.

im a little discouraged about spending M$P to customize my avatar, where it doesnt really do anything. It'd be nicer if we could unlock different FM3 Avatar gear as we progress through the Carrer mode instead of paying for them. just my 2 cents...

The FM2 intro is so.. YAWN... i hate watching it. When I fire FM3 up for the first time, i want to be confronted with amazing shots of cars, just like when you first fire up GT4, the intro is the thing that sets the tone for the rest of the games life pretty much. FM2's menu's seem boring

But LMP2 YAY! Cant wait for next seasons TLMS now, I bagsy one of them wee Lola's. Perhaps giving the R10 and 908 a run for their money at some of the twistier tracks.

Im loving the intro Love the R10 streaking past the R8 V10 at Le Mans, followed by the shots of the Lola and the Audi splitting the BMW, all awsome.

You can tell that Turn 10 really do adore Gran Turismo, they are in direct competition with it, but you can tell that the guys at T10 really aspire to what Polyphony are doing, the very over-the-top Gran Turismo-esque intro works really well. I love it

Maybe Restrictors could be used as a way to keep future championships more even, after a certain amount of races. Like a ballist weight system, but with less power instead.

The restrictor option reminds me about NASCAR using restrictor 'plates' to limit the air input, thus dropping horsepower at Daytona and Talladegga. that option may just work out in other ways too. (i remember one year Rusty Wallace in a private practice run at Talladegga, had the crew remove the restrictor plate, and he ran over 230mph. i think that was back in 2002 or so. 850-unrestricted-hp)

so i'm sitting here watching monza.

and i think that they should have done some sort of forza-spec open wheel series...where all the cars are the same. but a few pre-loaded different liveries (say 8 just so everyone has a different one) and you can pick and choose different aero bits depending on the track. but the engine power remains the same all across the board...

i think that'd be alot of fun.
