Aparently Ken Block and Chris Atkinson are teaming up for Team Monster Energy with Ford for an attack on the WRC next season.
An attempt to break into the US market and finaly a driver who could LITERALLY run rings around Loeb!

when it comes to rallying though, Travis pastrana is really much better. although block is still way better than loeb

well the x games comming into the stadium is a really challenging, maybe more so than some wrc stages

I think that while Block is a great driver, I still don't think he could be as quick as someone like Loeb is, espeicaly as Loeb is multiple world champion, the Michael Schumacher of WRC, the man is pure French genius, driving these DTM-esque cars of recent years. And i'm sure the Col du Tornini is muuuccch more hard than the little downwards slope into the X-Games arena!

still, block may have a works car but alot of the subaru rally team usa stuff isnt as high budget as WRC, let him get a Proper rally car like a focus rs or Fiesta S2000 and see what happens

If by win a couple you mean the super specials then yeah most likely.
I'm not entirely convinced on his stage pace but we shall see. Atkinson is quick too he just had a couple of bad luck seasons with a bad scooby. Will be good to have him back

I cant help thinking that Pastrana deserves a drive in the WRC more than Block, because at the moment Pastrana is way out ahead of everyone in the points in the Rally America Series and has been dominating this year.

Block is an amazingly talented driver and the stuff he can do with a car is incredible...but I think he will struggle to keep up with the likes of Loeb on a rally stage, its just not the kind fo driver he is. Good luck to him and I think he will bring some excitment to the WRC and he will take awhile to get to Loeb standards. Although I could be wrong

I personaly think he wont be able to match the pace of Leob, Hirvonnen, Sordo and Matti Latvala consistently, might get the odd punch in, but otherwise he will be battling with Hennig Solberg and the likes.
