World Rally Championship (WRC) 2010

Ok Guys, Round 1 of the WRC starts this Friday with Rally Sweden. (Coverage Sunday, 6pm on Dave)

What are peoples thoughts and predictions?

Will Hirvonen finally defeat Loeb?

Will Kimmi Raikonen be Crap? (or will he not even finish?)

How will Ken Block do when he joins in Round 2? (Mexico)

Will Petter Solberg be a major factor now he's in a Citroen C4 aswell? (As the only World Champion competing who's not Loeb)

Feel Free to discuss this and Any of the sub formulas (S2000 Cup, PWRC, JWRC)

i'm in the middle of the season preview.

like 2009 with BTCC

2010 will be the first season i watch every race.

i know practically nothing about rally.

i guess i'll root for block, cause he's an american. but i really would rather not. cause he seems like a prick.

i dunno.

great sport really, I hope to one day do some amateur rally. It's the national sport of Finland too. If you want to see some of the older seasons with rallies no longer running (like safari) check out this channel

Hirvonen won Rally Sweden.... a Big surpprise to me! Can he hold on to his grip on the Championship Lead? or will Loeb fight back in Mexico?

How do people rate Kimi's performance?

Hirvonen is Scandinavian, so I'm not surprised he beat some tarmac specialist from france

lol wouldnt exatly call Loeb a one trick pony though! lol 6 world championships say he's gotta have something on snow/ice.

yh very good. please to see ford start where they left off. (biased a little i am yes. - ford fan)

truley showed hirvonens pace when loeb said he was giving up.

kimi was just a laugh. it was a hard opener for him but he made to many mistakes. should have just eased off a bit and they wouldnt have happened.

could be a good season.

kimi for a top 5 in mexico

Kimi has been making alot of mistakes, but it just shows how hard he is pushing. Its very easy to go off when you are pushing to the limit in something new and different, all he needs is a window of non-mistakes to show his true pace.

Go Mr. Block! he will probably fail spectacularly but who cares

loeb has gotten a whole lot better on snow in the past few years

I still want Dani Sordo to win it all

would be truely amazing if kimi won the whole championship lol but i can see solberg doing very well this year however he should have taken a works ford instead of the c4.

Exactly! but given the choice i'd still pick the Citeroen

the ford isn't French tho

Blocks been doing well in Rally America, but thats not a ruler of the competiton in WRC. He wont win but hell be top 8 im saying. unless it all goes terribly wrong
