No idea where block came, But Loeb won, i think it was Ogier 2nd then Hirvonen. I think i missed someone out. but seemed a really good race shame its tough to find it live.
Re: World Rally Championship (WRC) 2010
Block was 11th in the first day but he crashed the car on the second stage and put an end to the car And Kimi rolled it 6 times I believe...

WRC Jordan This weekend.
Who do we think will win?
Hirvonen got Round 1, Loeb got Round 2 and leads the Championship after a bad round from Hirvonen in Mexico.
Will Kimmi finish the rally in the points?
Will Kimmi Finish full stop?
What do we think guys?

Re: World Rally Championship (WRC) 2010
Who remembers the days of 2001-2003 when you had 5 manufacturers fighting for the title with names like Makinen, Gronholm, Sainz, Burns and McRae up against Solberg, Martin and Loeb with Rovenperra and Panizzi featuring heavily at Corsica and Catalunya?
Those were the days when I fell in love with rallying, today is a mere shadow compared to that, just thank the lord rally drivers still have big characters!
This is part of the live broadcast of the final stage of the season in 2003:

Re: World Rally Championship (WRC) 2010
It looks like the Glory days could be making a comback with the new rules for 2010.
With Ford, Citroen and Mini all building cars specificly for next years WRC.
And since they're S2000 Based We could also see Peugeot, Skoda, Fiat and Proton in the Championship aswell!
Fingers crossed.....
(the Super 2000 Cup run alongside the WRC is so far just half a billion Fiesta's VS about 4 Skoda's )
But i think the IRC has a bit more variety which is encouraging

Re: World Rally Championship (WRC) 2010
As much as I respect the IRC, I just can't watch it, it carries none of the history or lure of the WRC! anyway... Citreon's DS3 for next year looks amazing!

and also... the worlds ultimate Subaru WRT fan? This guy will probably hope Subaru come back next year!
Thats Richard Burns Rally btw, one of the best sims ever made, its a game all of us must pick up for the xbox and do next years TRC on!

Re: World Rally Championship (WRC) 2010
Not many rounds of the championship left now and Sebastien Loeb looks set to claim the championship once again.
However this year has not been all doom and gloom.
We have seen the resurrgance of Petter Solberg, building his own team around him whilst finding speed we havnt seen since his Championship year (The last time Loeb DIDNT win the title!) Next year in the DS3 Could see further improvements from Solberg as costs decline and with it the difficulties and stresses of running and funding his team.
However i think the real story is the emergance of Citroen Young Gun Sebastien Ogier. Dubbed "Seb 2.0" by his opponants (Ken Block being the first to mention it) Ogier has shown that he is the first true challenger to the Dominant Loeb the sport has seen in some years. Growing in pace throughout the season to such an extent that Citroen dumped Danni Sordo into the Junior team Ogier has taken big wins this season and is 2nd in the title race this year. A Superstar in the making? I wouldnt bet against him!
The biggest dissappointment this year for me has been Ford. None of the Focus's have looked like a serious threat this season with only Latvala's Win in Finland showing the Ford we used to know up until this season. The dominance of the Citroen C4 is perhaps a sign that next years rules are desperately needed, and perhaps the focus of Ford This year rather than the outgoing Focus, however a disasterous season for Ford this year could Damage the confidence of their drivers going forward into 2011 and the Ford Fiesta RS WRC.
2011 looks like it could be a vintage year for the WRC. The new Fiesta WRC has more miles behind it in S2000 form than the DS3 WRC which could see Citroen start the season on the back foot.
However the real action will be for the Title, with Loeb, Ogier and Solberg all showing serious speed and potential and the possibility of the Ford boys striking back with the Fiesta.
Will we see a major shift in the balance of power away from the Dominant Citroen?
Will Loeb be dethroned?
If so will it be by "Seb 2.0" or one of the resurgant past masters?
WRC 2011..... i think we could be in for something special here!
