Yes. There are still 3 levels of damage, none, limited and simulation.

Re: Championship Discussion
silencer the main reason tora has never had damage on the gt championships was for damage caused by lag ending the race. with the distances between the cars minimal and speeds very high we have always felt it necessary to allow people to finsih the race. if you want to pay to put a fibre optic network between all tora members or maybe pay to move us all to an event center for every race then we could switch to damage on.silencer s6 wrote:i hate this non realistic racing....no damage....you guys are crybabies....lol..... now the racing is botched because we dont have sim tyre wear and sim fuel...........some of you guys need to man up.....in real life there is damage in racing......and i hate to say this but TORA is not a sim racing league with out damage, tyre wear, and fuel consumption....
if you cant handle damage.....and if you want to become a real race car driver, like Ashley, me, or night rider are going to be......and you cant handle damage.....your a joke....you shouldnt even be racing...

Re: Championship Discussion
Yeah, like culchi said the reason that TORA has always done non Simulation Car damage was because of either big lag crashes that cripple cars or pile ups at the start or race which inevitably happen. I don't fancy runnign around for and hour with absolutely ruined aero thansk to someone who can't figue out thier braking sidtance at the first corner. Simulation tire wear/fual has always been a must though becuase it added that certain level of tactics to a race.
If TORA either decides to keep it all cosmetic and get rid of pitstops or have mandatory one or if they decide we should run with full damage I will race either way.

Re: Championship Discussion
As we said on TC, if we can't get them separated, will will run mandatory pit stops.
This applies to all series.

Re: Championship Discussion
Now I would much prefer to have damage on in LMS for the simple fact of balancing performance with fuel consumption, but the bad point about this is any major crash in the race, and the cars performance is majorly disadvantaged for the remainder of the race.

Re: Championship Discussion
Tap a prototype arse off the line and the driver may as well go home then and there.
We will be looking into the situation.

Re: Championship Discussion
i just feel that some ppl on here wont take so many risks if damage is full on and results may be different.
but i not gonna argue over it im just saying. i dont care what you do with the rules i just put up with it

Re: Championship Discussion
I agree but they would still take more than if they are driving in RL!
......and there will always be the issue of lag, particularly over long races.

Re: Championship Discussion
tbh, Sim damage could be pulled off with more success compared to the close GT3 racing. lms has rolling starts and cars always end up really far apart quite quickly

Re: Championship Discussion
Just like I said in the TCM forum, I would be happy to do photomode updates from each of the races in the LMS. Which means I will need people to save the replays, and then upload them to there in-game storefront.
Other then that, enjoy the series chaps.

Re: Championship Discussion
I'd like to compete in the LMS, preferably in a GT class, so if there any teams out there looking for drivers give me a shout.
