Championship Discussion

Since Magicatap and Sbiggs are no longer racing in the TCC, Chillz and I were talking after qualifying and we would like to restructure the two teams involved.

Magictap was the team manager, so Chillz isn't sure who needs to do this so I am just posting the information. Magictaps car is not currently being driven, and I would like to take that spot in both the team and the car. I am not trying to take the manager spot, just the spot on the team and in the car. I would like to be released from the #24 car, and as the team manager for my team is no longer racing in TORA, he isn't here to make that request a reality.

Could one of the big wigs point us in the right direction as to where to go from here?

Decide on a team manager for Longshots, then get that person to submit a new championship registration form with the latest team info on it. I'll gift you the paint for the vacant Mazda, Gashi.

I am looking at maybe entering that series as well, but I will need to be given some time. If I will race for you or not in the other series.

If I do enter the TCC during this season, then it won't be for a while. However I may have an update within the next 1-4 weeks.

We've just started this season Jamie, so it'll be next year by the time we get to the next one. You still have plenty of time to join this season

could the pi of the ford RS be looked at again? Brit is some 4 seconds off the pace and im nearly 3 around mogeti.

I agree the focus rs is slow. Either raise the pi or look at a different car. I can recommend the Toyota celica or the Megane rs as available and competitive cars. Good luck.

we want to field a real car in a real team thatz they we re team Aon. The car has to be run heavy to get it into the rules and thatz kinda killing us, we would just like too see if the new TORA heads can understand and help us.

Apologies if this has been asked elsewhere, but does anyone know off the top of their head which car packs are needed to be able to see all the cars eligible for the TCC? I could research it, but if someone already has the information to hand it would save a lot of work!

I already have the World Car Pack for the DS3 we are running.

Before i bought the packs i just downloaded the free car and that meant i could see the cars but they couldnt be driven at all.In the garage they are shaded out then when i bought them it unlocks.

Thanks for the info, I'll give it a try.

Another possible stupid question, do we still need to sign up for the individual events and if so where? I raced the last few rounds of the last TCC Championship to use FM2 and we had to sign up in a thread. The rules pdf also mentions signing up to individual events. Whats the score?

We are running an Auto invite system just now. Basically we invite everybody who is on the entry list at least once. The Lobby hosts, who will be shown on Live Timing, will run open lobbies and will have a basic list of people they expect to invite. We all send out at least 1 invite and then wait until we have to start qualy. If people turn up we take note of who they are and they are entered for the event. If you don't accept the invite and don't turn up we just assume you aren't racing./ You can freely enter any of our lobbies as you wish and we will just take note that you are there.

We also usually set up a race discussion thread prior to the race event. In there you can post 'In' and it gives us an indication that you will be racing but it isn't mandatory.

Is it ok for me to use the Civic Si as a privateer or not?
Just wondering because the meeting is tonight and I don't know whether I will be in a team or not.

You're on the entry list at the moment as a privateer '04 Civic Type-R

If you want to change to the Si, please put a post in the Entry List thread in the usual application format, including team name (even as a privateer) and I'll update the list.

I'm not sure why you're suffering, unless you're sandbagging which I'm sure you're not. I can run similar times to what Chillz has posted on the timings board in the RS, and gary has tested it, and is getting 1:30s

Someone I know could make a great video from one of the closest races, but I will need to know what race had the closest and most action packed racing. Other then that, can Aero send me a list of TCC cars.

Which are still free to use for privateer entry. Because I am willing to make a guest appearance or two. Unless a team is willing to give me a guest apperence of course.
