Re: Championship Discussion
Looking forward to this championship the most at the mo! Low-powered cars all on a level playing field, promises to be good.
Slightly ever so slightly disappointed that the Clio's weren't chosen though!

Re: Championship Discussion
Dont worry, the Mini's will be just as good as a Clio championship, I have done some mini raing with some of the other JTB guys with the JCW Mini's. Simply put all handling upgrades, slick tyres and the Mini Cooper Cup rear wing and had some great fun racing. They roll easily on kerbs too.

Re: Championship Discussion
Ahh, should be good, I've specked my Mini out to the 2010 regs and it seems like a good car. Rolling = bad! I've almost managed to roll a S5 god knows how many times, never mind a mini! I best keep off the curbs at maple valley. haha.nicky wrote:Dont worry, the Mini's will be just as good as a Clio championship, I have done some mini raing with some of the other JTB guys with the JCW Mini's. Re: Championship Discussion
i think this would of been a much better series if you had a certain build for everyone to follow just like in the real thing so now advantage is gained through the build making the field much closer.

You love the litlle weeee minis lol
Re: Championship Discussion
God damn it, not more mini's. I,m still having nightmares about the last time, those things were a bloody pain in the backside to run and tune.
I do love the lower classes though and DEFINATELY agree on having one build only with alot of tuning potential, more true to life that way.
When does all of this start?, well up for it

Re: Championship Discussion
Ok the write ups and pics are starting to come my way but not fast enough guys!!!
The boxes are on my SF and there are some doing the rounds too. If I have sent you one can you please pass them around.
Remember this is what I need:
1) General Team History (Not an essay!)
2) Series Specific history (how you have done/what car you used/who drove for you etc)
3) 'Racing' pics prefferably side on, but with your start of season paint at a circuit.
4) Spotters Guide pics. These can go straight to AJ.
Please helpt this guide be as amazing as I know it can be. I've only been working on it for oohh... two months or so!

Re: Championship Discussion
The recommended build is on the latest podcast.
The details of the limits of the build are in the regulations, which you've read...
