We have now come to a debate over the setup of the BMW. The target PI is R3-770, and restricted the BMW ranks R3-746. Unrestricted it ranks R3-794. Both are 24 PI off target, and of course we would prefer to be over rather then under. Except for the fact that we did have very stable, close, clean racing with the restricted version. In an upcoming video you will be able to watch all three XTI BMWs (restricted) keep up with Silencer's R3-770 F430GT easily in the corners, although he did fly away on the straights and he car is considered to be still "un-tuned".

Restricter plate removal adds roughly 120HP, 100LB-FT Torque and 1LBS weight.
We have already created a unrestricted tune, which still has to be tweaked to fix some minor issues. Based on the tracks though, it seems the un-restricted version is the one of choice, that is unless the target PI is lowered. Although PI 750 would be highly competitive with the restricted cars, or so it seems from what we have done so far, the 100 PI gap to the next class up seems a bit excessive. Either way things go we will have our cars ready.
