Testing 02/12/2009

Anyone fancy doing some testing over a few different tracks tonight?

I realy need to get a tune sortd for my car and wud rather tune it for racing than hot lapping.

All welcome will be runing a lobby from about 9 if any1 is interested.

The times below were done in the Corvette Z06 with a PI level of 660, we (me and WWR Aero) ran both 650 and 660 and the 650 was atleast 2 seconds off the pace of everyone else not just the 660 corvette, the 660 is a very cometitive car with the others drove in this testing sesion. Obviously the car is still got to be 650 but if kept at 650 it just is not competitve whereas at 660 it is actually competitive.

tbh, i found the S650 Z06 and Ford GT to be competitive to the 670's. i have both, and they run times similar to my 670's. i dont think anything should be done to the Chevy or Ford

I think the chevy and ford would be able to have too much power if you raise the pi. So unless you want to have a completely spec car, which I would hate, you have to keep the pi down. Just my opinion. By the way, the GT is my second choice so it would impact me personally and I am still for keeping the GT at 650.

Sorry i had to bail so early on this guys. My fiance come home with an impromtu takeaway so had to do one. The one thing i did notice while i was there was that the 650 Porsche quickly got left behind both in laptimes and on track, whilst my 670 Viper had no issues at all.

One thing I learnt was that the Ferrari was bloody quick. Might do some testing on that just to make sure it is balance with the other cars.

I'll think you'll find that's Driver skill + good set up. Anymore stop this car-get this car off the list posts will be met by a severe bitch slapping administered personally by myself.

what r the rsults from your testing of my Viper Jenson? Im guessing from your message above you ran the same times as in your Viper?

very similar yes mate. I think PLOW could give me a Viper thats topping time sheets al over the place and I'd still not be mega quick.
My Mercedes is still VERY close to it either just plus or just minus at all the tracks Ive tested so I'm happy.
I'll chuck you that Viper back later today
