Tuning Empty Tuning

Post by JAMIE ANDERS0N Tue 22 Dec 2009 - 7:55

For someone like me who just dont know the first basics of tuning I used to think the http://www.ondaground.net/flash/fm2/ was great as I could get a basis tune and just do a few tweaks here and there. Then the problem come of Forza 3, the suspension calculator didnt work. and after a few weeks some were made but in speadsheets or google docs what was not so simply. So this morning I was on the search again and found a web based http://www.forzatraders.com/flash/ForzaMotorsport3CarSetupTool.swf. Just thought I would let you all know that this tool is now out. I aint tested it yet.

Yes, there are a few out already that I have tried. I like to use them for various parts sometimes when i can't figure something out on a car.
There were two that I tried, but the one you posted was the better one, imo. The other one was a spreadsheet-type that made absolutely no sense. Either way, thanks for posting this!

I dont trust them. Tuning calculators are based on algorithms and forulas, not driver style

When i first started playing forza i had a look at these calculators...

There ok to give you a basic idea but i wouldnt depend on it totally. Afterall, there are so many variables in everyones driving styles that a universal calculator is never going to be a good as tweaking the car yourself
