Following on from it's GT90's success thanks to the skilled driving talents of The Slim Stoner, THR have secured backing to enter the CER with two Porsche 911 GT1 Strassenversion.
These cars have been loaned to the team from a private collector and while authorisation has been given to repaint the cars, it has been stipulated to the team that utmost care is taken over the cars. Would we have it any other way?

Team manager jenson09 had this to say;

"It's a fantastic opportunity to run these incredible cars in the CER. It is something I have wanted to do again since GT90's but haven't really been able to divert sufficient time and resources to putting a programme together. The offer of these two Porsches was one I simply could not refuse. We are endebted to our suppliers and partners for giving us the opportunity to run them in the 2010 CER."

The drivers will be jenson09 and THR's Selective Rogue.

Porsche confirmed the cars had been received by THR and were beginnning their servicing and overhauls in full accompaniment with the German manufacturer and associated suppliers. Expect to see the cars appear for the first time sometime in mid January.
