The test last night was real good fun, the BMW's seem to be struggling a little at the moment, I guess those guys will be testing a bit more to get up to speed!

The Seat just felt really really good, especially around Valencia as you can see from the time sheets

Wait, hold on guys. I've been away for the last week or so, are you runnign a series out of a general chat thread about Race Pro?

You know, a simple PM could have gotten you a nice set up in the community series section...

At the moment we are just getting the interest and entries up and running before we get it onto the Community series bit.

It would be good if we could do more than four rounds though.

Oh right ok, fair enough.

I think I will increase the 4 rounds to 6 for Community Series.

That would be great. Race Pro has plenty of nice tracks that we want to visit.

I'll send you a PM of the rules once we get dates and venues sorted.

Yeah was a struggle at times. 11 laps at Valencia and only pulled out a 47...2nd lap of the race and I pull off a 46.2. Last lap I was pushing and on for a 45 and then binned it. Still learning the car & wheel but I'm happy with where I'm at already.

Enjoyed it last night though!

Race Pro really is a rewarding game, especially with the wheel set up right.

How you finding those wheel settings Magic told you?

At first it was a bit twitchy but I think that was just me not used to the settings. Just before we stopped practice at Zandvoort I was 0.6 up in the first sector, so I started getting the hang of things. Zandvoort isn't the best track to try out new settings though. Slowly getting there.

I came up with those settings while doing some racing around Macau one night, they really helped me quite a bit.

Anyone up for some more testing at 10? My internet is still quite dodgy, so i'd rather someone else hosted

I'm about to pop out for a couple of hours, should be back about 10ish, hopefully earlier. If a lobby isn't already up when I get back then I can host.

I've been looking at the regs again and I've noticed a few things...

I Dont think we're able to do double header races with reverse grids.
Nor were we restricted to a single lap in Qually, however there are ways around this in the old-school way of qualifying on the first Forza.

The fastest lap rule was my desperate attempt at having a gimmick, we can rid of it.

Qualifying could be done in open practice. Like a 10 minute session. The races would have to be rolling starts in that case.

To do a double header, after the first race, you pick the same track again and skip through the sessions.

Does that make the grid order random though?

Good Idea, can have the lobby host call out a qualifying order, and when the first guy starts his flying lap the next guy on the list could start his warm up lap...and so on...
