F1 Car Launch Thread

OK so its that time of year again!!!!

The launches are starting properly tomorrow with Ferrari launching their car online. The whole thing plus the post launch test around Fiorano will be streamed on their website.
McLaren will be launching their car in a similar fashion live on Friday morning.
Next week will be a good week to with Mercedes doing a proper launch and Williams and Torro Rosso following suit on the 1st.

i hope Mclaren have got rid of there Chrome.... we cant have 2 teams of chrome.... its just not cool....

No, last years renault was not pretty. This actualy looks quite good imo.

Last years ferrari had a nose like that too, they have made it more Red-Bullish this time around.

Wing pylons are interesting, havn't seen anything like that since that Macca from 5 or so years back.

Talking of McLaren, they are getting launced tomorow! Can't wait to see the car I will dispise for the whole season! Although just about every single Mclaren since 2004 has looked amazing.

urm guys did u see the mercedes car on the tv the other day. its grey :S not chrom or silver just dull light grey and a bit of white.

so i think the mclaren should definately keep the crome!... shiney!

yes but the RedBull was better through the Corners... Hence RedBull wings.... (no punn intended)

Well no, because if you look at the front end of the Ferrari, it has a very prominent bend on the underside of the footbox/nose section, and the top of the footbox/nose has the raised louvres on either side. I'll make a comparison photo of all three cars.

Well for a person who is pursuing a career in automotive design and is quite handy on MS Paint (only took two minutes) then I would say i'm not that sad at all, lol.

I wasn't trying to prove you wrong, I was highlighting the fact that the nose cones of the Ferrari and Williams were similar to last years Red Bull, and not the Force India, to let you and everyone else know exactly what we had been talking about! I just think that saying ''I reckon they are probably copyin tha force india cos that was heavy quick in a strate line'' when the cars are CLEARLY influenced by the Red Bull is a little well... stupid, like many of your comments on the forum. And I don't mean to be a complete smart alec, but common! You can't say something is modeled on something else just because you reckon so!

And while we are on the subject of being sad... we all are on this forum, we all play the xbox all the time and race each other. But its fun!
