The move Aero made was very late, very quick, and Dan was already aiming at the apex of the corner when the move was made. As Slider correctly points out, this contact was as a result of this late lunge made by the overtaker, who's responsible for ensuring it is conducted cleanly and fairly.

Where was Webbers penalty points and qually penalty? I believed TORA prided itself on being as close to real life racing as possible?

Also, Dan spinning was not caused by Aero, he lost it himself AFTER Aero overtook him and was in the next corner!

I dunno it looked very much like it was the extra turn in to aim well inside the apex that caused the accident. Anyway I'm not going to bang on about it...its just a shame there was contact because I thought it was a brilliant bit of driving.

The slow-mo clearly see's Dan turning in pretty early, and spinning out completely on his own. Aero had completed the pass before Dan turned in on him!

if u look close ull see aero hits dan TWICE thats why dan spins. dan becomes too slow to keep the car going smoothly if aero hadnt hit dan twice this wouldnt of happened.

Aero didn't hit Dan, Aero made a legit move, made the pass as he was 80% next to Dan, and Dan turned in and hit Aero! The second contact, Aero was pushed onto the grass and had nowhere to go and Dan turned in again, as if he still didn't know that Aero was there!

Did he not learn?!

We made our decision. The Head Steward has outlined this. We believe the move was not fair and clean.

If the aggrieved parties wish to appeal, they should contact Duncan with their grounds for such.

We will not argue this in public.

Here are 5 Golden Rules

- If you are ON the track, then you are responsible for the car IN FRONT of you.

- If you are OFF the track, then you are responsible for the car BEHIND you.

- Always anticipate what YOU would do if you were the car that you are racing against.

- Always anticipate what YOU wouldn't do if you were the car that you are racing against.

- The Stewards use a 'but for' rule, i.e. BUT FOR my actions, would have such and such have happened to so and so.

Thanks guys for coming to my defense, though as you can see it really isn't open for debate. I will take this penalty on the chin, and just sit in the position I start in from now on - overtaking is for mugs.

Actually I think you'll find it was a combination of no TCS and a heavy/frustrated foot/finger.

I'm sorry for continuing this but I'd like to make a couple of points out here and give my side of it for those who wasn't in our lobby.
Firstly, this was nothing like the F1 clip at catalunya that you showed in an earlier message. Also, you're clip doesn't show how quickly our incident happened. As you know at that chicane, there's very little distance from the braking area to the corner itself after that long, high speed straight.
I overtook WWR Aero on the straight! When it came to the braking area, I was moving towards the left side of the track to take the line for the corner and to give Aero some room on the outside of the corner. Unfortuantely, Aero decides to make the move very late and as a result, our cars touch first time around as I was trying to take my line for the entry of the corner.

Hope that clears it up a bit more!

Not the 2 second penalty NO! Thats a bit harsh! It ruined my race but it wasn't dangerous enough to be a proper serious punishment!
