GT3 Round's 1 & 2 Discussion Thread - Road Atlanta Full

Welcome to the first GT3 race of the season.

Will DAN 2605 be the first to successfully defend his title?
Going by the media day at Silverstone International it seems not, with 3 of the WWR lads topping the tables for the quickest times.

1st - 1:18.138 - WWR Stealth – Good Year DR

2nd – 1:18.359 - WWR Chillz – Compuware Aero Dynamics

3rd – 1:18.472 - WWR Dizzy – Good Year DR

Will it be the same story at Road Atlanta this coming Sunday (21st Feb)

my car feels slghtly off the pace, the best laptime is probably gonna be in the 1:19's and I'm in the 22's

I think it'll be difficult for my team to be competitive in the F430 around Road Atlanta. But we should be in much better shape once we switch to the Corvette! But I'll be giving it 110% in every race to make sure that it isn't going to be a WWR wash-out during the season!

For now, I just hope we can get all three cars in the top 15. Thats what I'm hoping for at Road Atlanta.

To be honest, I've come to a conclusion this afternoon. I don't really care anymore if I don't either beat the best guys or if I don't get another win or championship. I'm tired of spending most of my time doing set-ups or trying to really practice around all the circuits. If I get another race win, great! But I'm just going to try and enter any championship now for fun.
Hense why I've decided to enter the HRC because there isn't any other championship in TORA where you can just drive the car however you like; or to have really good fun by making the car go really, really sideways. I'm not moaning; I'm just too tired for this serious stuff now.

So if WWR beat me, GREAT! But I'm not that worried anymore. I just do my own thing and thats that! I got a bit tired as well with the way PLOW were on at me everytime my name got mentioned.

So lets continue with the season and may we all have a blast!

All im going to say is bring it!!!! My 458 isnt fantastic and i am struggling with the car at the moment but im going to do my best and see where that leaves me!
