decent start to the season, good team performance overall
nice to get Road Atlanta out of the way with not to bad a points haul as its not my favourite track.
Lets see how the corvettes do next round

@ AJ, yeah ano a race finish with decent points would have been better then last season ha
@Dan, True the 458 and Corvette are good cars just need to be dialled in to be quick cos I was running mid 21's this morning compared to my fastest lap of a 20.2 tonight so it is quick

Re: GT3 Round's 1 & 2 Discussion Thread - Road Atlanta Full
very dissapointed in the treatment of connection issues, I got an invite from dan, and that was it. Then I got an invite from AJ. After obviously not being able to get in, I reset my router, signed in and out on numerous occasions, spent a whole 25 minutes turning things off and on, and I got not one message offering advice or what I should do, or even just saying that you were going to go ahead with the race anyway. But no, I came back on and went to join my lobby only to find that everyone had just started without telling me. And why didn't Dan reset his router too? That could have solved the whole thing!
All of the testing I did, and all the last minute efforts I put into the Viper after being told I couldn't run the Corvette (usualy I would have just run the vette anyway, but i'm being a good boy) and then being told I had to get a livery done and get a spotters guide pic in so I could race, I did all of it, turned up to qualifying with plenty of time to spare, was looking foward to battling with adam and everything, but for what? Just for everyone to ignore me, ''oh we'll just go along he wont mind..''
Just a bloody message saying ''We are gonna go ahead with the race as theres nothing we can do about the connection issue'' would have been fine! I would have completely understood!
I thought we were cool after all that crap from last month!

absolutely awful start to the season, I guess that's what happens when you play Fifa 10 when you should be practicing. In quali, think I did have a dirty lap in the 22's, but because of this retarded dirty lap system, it showed my clean lap... which was bad... Not really fair, as if all my laps were dirty, I would have been 1or 2 lobbies up
that's the one thing about TORA races, if you don 't practice, you get [MOD EDIT - Brnout, watch your language!] on :/

Well, I missed it again! The good news about 45 minutes late is that I did in fact get my livery done for next time. I'll be sending that along soon. ckBrenneke, good to hear of some success with the BMW. I've been having fits with mine.
I still have yet to drive (won't call it racing) with any of you so hopefully sometime in the future.

Any idea when we will have an announcment about the PI increases? It was pretty obvious that the 680 cars were too quick for the 660 cars, the Porsche was too slow for the other 660 cars, and the 458 is too quick for everything.

Yea. The 660 cars got hammered. It will be interesting to see what happens. I am following this carefully as I dislike the Corvette and would like to change to the Porsche or Lambo, but not until it can be competitive.

Re: GT3 Round's 1 & 2 Discussion Thread - Road Atlanta Full
Got stung by setting a slow clean lap in qualifying but had a great race from everyone in C lobby, especially the first race. Had a couple of good battles with Tezuka...ended up crossing the start line backwards at one point. Fairly happy with car though, its a lot better under braking than I'd realised.
And how me and Tezuka (I think) missed Toby at the start of race one I'll never know. I just took to the grass on the inside as soon as I saw his reverse light come on.

Absolutly livid after last nights race.
Bad qualy followed by not bad start into turn one, three abreast with ck and I think Sam. Then on the drop down the hill I loose all control I think I hit ck before being d/c.
Not internet issues but actually having the wire taken out of my router!!!!!
REALLY not happy about that.
Anyway, thats me done for a few weeks now. No racing for #45

I agree with Crisis's earlier comments about the Porsche.
Sorry to bang on about this issue because I know it's been discussed at length but seriously, c'mon, on the straights it's embarrassing slow compared to everything else in the field.
And before anyone starts, I did choose the car BEFORE the PI was changed and shut up and just got on with it, but seriously guys this car is just not competitive!?!?!

LOL its still faster in a straight than the viper, and i have at least 100hp on you! i mean we're fast in the corners, but the brakes cant do sudden stops, only trail braking, and its dangerously slow on the straights. Tez had about 20mph on me by the end of the long straight. Toby and i tied for 12h when we both couldve do so much better but we're in 660 cars. Apache and I are usually B lobby material, i was in B lobby most of the time last year in the GTC or on pole in C lobby. but yesterday, I was bottom of C lobby and Apache was middle of D. But look at the top 10! 6 ferraris! and the fastest are the 458s! they need to be taken down to 670 and all the 660 cars need to be brought up to 670, and aj, im not mkaing this personal, but the only reason you were in c lobby yesterday was because you were using the wheel. that 458 couldve made B lobby if you were using the controller.
thats all for now

It was defernately good fun and I do try my best to be as fair as possible when it comes to the race track!
Don't worry about the collision. I already had damage from lap one and when I suffered a bit more, I decided to stay behind my team mate (even though I was quicker than him).
The secret team radio last night was quite interesting seeing that you guys in B lobby heard it all and I'm going to file a complaint later for you guys somehow hacking into our secret team radio!...........................Only joking! lol
I was giving Daniel (Y22 DJH) words of encouragement (as a team boss) when it came to the pace and how far we was ahead of Louis in race 2!

- Members are responsible for their own connection.
- Every attempt was made to get nicky into one of our lobbies, for both Race 1 and 2. Unfortunately he was offline at the time, unless we are informed directly that competitors are resetting their connection, we can naturally not wait to see if competitors may or may not come back online.
- Race Control does not have time to contact competitors directly during meetings. Competitors who are experiencing problems during a meeting have been advised to post on the relevant thread in the Race Control section of the forums, or send a text message over XBL, voice messages will not be listened to.

Firstly, nicky, I was being facetious with my reply there.
Secondly, we had to co-ordinate 5 lobbies with 34 entrants last night, so we could hardly single out one member when there were many suffering connection issues.
