F1 2010: The Game

I got my dispatch confirmation email earlier today so fingers crossed it'll come tomorrow

lucky brits dont have to wait at all, we here in the states were told this game will be out and in stores YESTERDAY! and then told me to come back today, went back today and then they told me its shipping out tomorrow and will be in the stores friday.

i got a txt from gamestop today saying it will be in tomorrow afternoon

Damn good game! Is there any way of changing the difficulty level for career after I've started? Or do I have to start again?

I think you can but I'm still working my way round the menus. I had my race at Bahrain ruined because changed the starting tyre to the prime from option for the start and at my stop they put more bloodyprime on so I had to come in again to switch.
Initial impressions tie in with what most of the mags have said. The game itself it brilliant and the gameplay even with a pad is awesome now I have the settings where I want them. The only current bug bear is when other cars are nearby it's harder to hear yours over them. Throttle is nice and progressive and you really can break ALOT later than you think you should. Melbourne was a good race for me and got my first points for Virgin after a race long scrap with Algesuari and an on the grass moment with Kobayashi!
Looking forward to the next race.
Oh and qualy in the wet really is scary!!

I'll do a proper review when I've had some more track time.

Thought medium would be suited to my skill and won by race by half a lap. D'oh!

Yeah I thought that too..... but then I'm only in the Virgin so I was expecting to under-achieve lol

britracer.... yes you can change difficulty before each race.

Grrrr i need to get paid and get to gamestop

they dont get it until tomrrow so no need to rush.... but they'll probably say (once you get there) it wont be in until someones grandmother passes away.

I'll be picking it up in an hour.

I have 2 weeks to wait, its even sitting at my house

Tip: Slick tyres in the wet REEEEAAAAAALLLYYYYYYY don't work! But you can push them quite a long way into changeable conditions before they stop working.
Also remember you can change your wing settings on the fly. Most useful when following another car

Going out with the missus shopping today. Going to try my hardest to convince it her it would be good for her health if she lets me buy it!
