Re: GT1 World Championship
Aside from that trvesty the day was good. I got there at an unearthly 7.30am. Was literally the first car in the carpark too!
The rain and wind were bloody awful for the first couple of hours but I got some pics of the fars coming down the Wellington Straight kicking up the sray and all that.
Weather improved gradually throughout the day. We ended up watching most of the action from the Arena section, saw a 'Vette burst into flames on the Hangar Straight too!
Got REEEAAAAAALLLLY close to the action on the new exit of Abbey, the marshalls were really good and didn't seem to mind us being at their post. Can't imagine that happening in July.
The bike ride round the track was a great experience even if I damaged my ass on the saddle! lol. The whole lap will e up at some point today as will the pics when I've had chance to edit them abit.

Matech truck looked insane!!!
very good day indeed. i have loads of pics from luffield. too many to even choose a top few to put on here, but if anyone is after any good reference pics or just have a favourite car, let me know and il send them in PM All relatively high quality (8-10 Mpixels) and some really detailed paddock shots for those looking for refernce pics.
Also doing some more 'artistic' shots of some of the GT1/GT3 field so if anyone would be interetsed and can name a car they would like also let me know. The R8 has given me some real inspiration. Also some pics of the beautiful 0ne-77 (not sure if you saw that matt? )

Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Looked like a great day. I wish I could have joined you guys.
@Racelegend - Any pics of Lambo's would be great, but my favourite is the Black and White GT3 Gallardo with Flat Ex on the bonnet. Thanks.

Re: GT1 World Championship
I have a couple of those too.
Didn't see the One-77 on Sunday though I did look.
Did you get any good shots of 'Big John' losing it at the start of the race?

Re: GT1 World Championship
@Matt yes I did lol. Tbh I got every incident at luffield. They brought the one-77 out at around 5.45 just opposite the Porsche club car park in the paddock entance. Looks so much better in the flesh.
@Chillz il take a look I've nearly edited them all so il send you a few samples tonight didn't get a lot of the White and black gallardo but il have a good look. Just I took far to many pics.

Re: GT1 World Championship
Everything else is done now, so all we have left to watch is GT1!
Two rounds left as the GT1's travel to South America for a race at Interlagos, followed by a trip to the epic San Luis circuit in Argentina. Vitaphone seem to have it wrapped up with Bertolini and Bartels leading with 130 points. Thomas Mutsch is third with 95 points, and seems to be the only other driver really in with a shout. Unsurprisingly its Vitaphone leading the teams championship with 160 points, with Reiter close behind with 142.

Re: GT1 World Championship
i really cant wait for the final two rounds, they're at two fantastic circuits and its been a really good season with the highlight being the championship race at the Algarve circuit with some epic commentary. I really hope the Maserati's wont win but i think it's inevitable that they will
