Am doing a lap tonight and I will post mine
Re: CER Meeting 3 Discussion Thread – Nurburgring (GP Circuit)
Hoping to get my 360 up and running by then, should be back in action thanks to a kind soul on here!
Not really had much running on this, but Switch kindly donated a build and tune for our HGT2 SVT Cobra, which has seen a significant increase in horsepower and top-end speed, so we might actually be able to take it to the Porsches this time!
And I love Nurburgring GP, been playing it a lot this week on TOCA Race Driver 3 while I have been sans Xbox 360, so I'm reasonably confident this time out.

1:47.4xx in Proto 1. Only did it once and the car is skidish as hell in the lower gears.

Re: CER Meeting 3 Discussion Thread – Nurburgring (GP Circuit)
Kind of a noob on this track but like this track. Getting use to driving without abs and tcs.
Re: CER Meeting 3 Discussion Thread – Nurburgring (GP Circuit)
For abs, you can set your brake pressure low until you get used to threshold braking as for tcs, just dont mash on the throttle, just like driving your car at home

I've altered it slightly, only ran it once round there, but it was more about the build giving us more grunt. I was quite comfortable with it.

good to hear. glad i could be of help.
and to latch onto Nightrider's bit with abs & tcs, just a bit of personal experience from when i joined TORA. for the better part of the GTC last season, i had been running 50% brake pressure to wheen (stays on the lookout for the grammar police) myself from using it. then the weekend of the Sebring Race, i decided to bite the bullet, go to the default 100%, and had what i thought was the toughest fights for the win between myself and DAN2605. i was literally sweating. .....i guess what im trying to get at, is it takes a bit of time to get used to not running ABS, but once you do get familiar with it, its like riding a bike. is that the right metaphor

(i hate to be a double-poster...)
i made it home before you guys finished. (lag-out helped there). but that tune was something i threw at the Stang and had no time to test tune it to see how it would work at Road Am. but obviously it wouldve paid off hadnt i went home after i double-pitted.
edit: looking at the leaderboard times through fm.net, ive netted a 2:01.154 at Nur GP thus far in my NSX-R

Re: CER Meeting 3 Discussion Thread – Nurburgring (GP Circuit)
This is a scary track with no TCS. Getting some OK laps without spinning too much but it is hard to get the power down.
Should be interesting on Sunday to say the least!!
Don't forget guys this is the FIRST time we will be officially using the GP Circuit and I would say there will be some really good racing here. Get signed up and hope to see LOTS of you there

I am scared of the Ferrari F40. It almost beats me with the computer driving it. Lol. Any hints on your laps Chillz? I promise not to complain too much when I hear it!

@Gashi. Mid 1:45's at the moment. I would like to do some more tuning though if I get time. I will probably just run it as it is. Now no complaining please.

You have done enough mate Go Chill out, have a crate of buds or whatever.
Infact, do that before the race, you will STILL win.

Re: CER Meeting 3 Discussion Thread – Nurburgring (GP Circuit)
That's great Chillz. I can't seem to get the low speed handling to work out. The car is amazing from 3rd gear up, it's just the low speed stuff the car is very unhappy, making the driver a little unhappy if you know what I mean!
