I am not sure how to fix it. I think it has to do with the turbo kicking in but the car seems so slow in the lower rpm. You have to either decide to go slow or risk spinning it every time in the first 4 corners. The car is great everywhere else in my opinion.

Yep you just cant get on the power in the first twisty sector the car doesnt feel planted so you have no confidence.

Is the next CER this weekend? I'm itching to race something and this could fill the gap. Can I race in Proto 1 or are there too many people?

Normal thing of put in a race entry form, on site it says theres 10 entrants and 4 teams in proto 1. 6 entrants and 2 teams in HGT1, 8 entrants and 3 teams in HGT2.

So just apply and see

I'll try some when I get back and see hopw I feel. Don't have much money to bu buying anythin the now anyway. Proto 1 is the only class I would be intersted in as its got the best cars but I can only try the others and see.

well for this round oly richy i say just get one of the lower category cars (they're cheaper) and get a race in and then next meet you hop on into proto 1 Very Happy

build an HGT1 spec car Richy. i could use some competition. i havent seen the MB Motorsport guys since the Mugello opener, and now that lfcnick switched to Proto 1, im the only HGT1 left. Razz

You shouldnt have to send your tune to anyone for it to be checked.
All the build rules are in the rules and regs but roughly say PI450, no adjustable aero

Yet again thwarted for a CER meeting. Missed the first one from illness, missed qualy for the second due to being late home from work, and now I am nightshift Sunday, so I'll miss the third! Not good... Sad

i got a message from AJ a lil bit ago, mentioning that the HGT1 was to be can'ed due to lack of entrants, so i guess im running HGT2. Smile

But i think i may need to double-pit again like at Road America. according to the lap times that have been added to the OP, im going to be "all by myself"

i always thought the CSL was an HGT2 car.

edit: i noticed on the rules & reg 'pdf' that it appears the pages for the list of HGT2 cars are swapped, as i remember DAN using the DB5 at Bugatti, and Mugello

Well my race can be best described as quiet. Spent most of it struggling to keep the Porsche from swapping ends on me on the bumps which I never realised were quite as bad as that!
Nearly played a major role in deciding the podium positions when Aero was stopped broadside in the middle of the track unsighted and I swerved to avoid him Clipped him with the rear of my car and damaged him aswell as ruining my aero too. Car wasn't the same after that and just cruised around to the finish.
Soul destroying stuff and not much fun really. Bring on the GT3.

my first lap was pretty interesting. cold tires going over those bumps in the first downhill schicane, kicked out my E30's rear tires. AJ got to see that first hand. Razz

then i nearly rolled my car over about 1/2 way through, but was able to counter steer to get the car planted again. i got the race replay, but for an odd reason, i cannot upload it to my SF
