May have made A lobby mate. You haven't been out-qualified by General yet have you?

We've always joked that Redbeard always gets taken out by other people in pretty much every race and last night was no exception. Jenson's lag bomb taking him out of race 1 and Stonewall taking him out in race 2. Until then that TVR was all over my Porsche.

Don't let it put you off Dave! You were well on the button last night mate.

Cheers mate! Was really enjoying race 2. I have to hold my hand up about race 1 though. I nudged the back of Jenson under braking into turn 2, hopefully didn't damage him though as my front aero was fine. It was while I was pulled up waiting for him to recover when someone slammed into me. Can't grumble too much about that as ultimately I started the chain of events! Disappointed about race 2 but looking forward to Silverstone now!

Nah I didn't get much damage from Turn 2 wierdly. Saw that you'd be hit from behind though as I recovered which was a shame. Appreciate the sposrtmanship though.
It's been a tough season for us 'oldies' I think. Silverstone should be good and a fitting end to our first GT3 seaon on the new format. Smile

Hopefully we'll see a better turnout next time round. Started well but we've had less than 16 racing for most of the season now.

..and Dave I think you forgot you still owe Matt for that bump round Sebring last season Wink

Yeah I was thinking the same last night actually. I dont seem to remember there being less than 3 lobbies at any point in the GT's last season?

And glad to see that you'll be back with us for the Silverstone race Dave. Have a full Vibe team out for the first time in ages hopefully!

@Matt - Yes you are correct, but I had already sealed the championship after Road America. Very Happy
See you all at Silverstone. Should be a good race.

I cannot wait to see the battle for 2nd in the drivers championship and 2nd in the team championship. 2nd is between Aero, Switch and Slim with only 6 points separating them and then the team championship between Santander and Gemballa with only 34 points separating them.
Should be a good one at Silverstone.

Post by AMR JSlim Mon 7 Jun 2010 - 17:01

Im not really bothered about getting 2nd, i will gladly take 4th after the amount of races i have actually missed, the first race of my season being Catalunya and then missing Motegi, to be 4th is an achivement it self.

1st race at Sebring wasn't too bad, qually was a disaster running a second slower than what i did in practice, but then i'm not exactly best buddies with Sebring.

The accident in race 2 completely destroyed my race, the porker was so damaged that i was pushing sooo hard but the car was practically dead and running high 2.03's...the occasionly low 2.03. I would of got Dan at the end had i not been so slow.

As you can tell i left without saying a word, i hated every second of race 2.

Anyone save the replay for race 2 lobby A? I have no idea what happened except i got tapped from behind and ended up spinning off with Chillz and ....i cant remember who else.

chillz got wide and tapped a corvette in turn 1

i tried to be opportunistic and go inside of him, when i see a white porsche on my left coming over. so chillz is trying to get back on track on my right, and you were sliding over on my left

i got squeezed in the middle between you and chillz.

the TVR is gonna be great around silverstone, i just know it.

i think the final race of the season will bring alot of people out, so hopefully attendance goes up.

no shortage of good clean racing though the past few races
